One of the best restaurants in D.C. of it's kind. Buzzy atmosphere, suave decor, decent service and most importantly top-notch tapas! I recommend gambas al ajillo paired with the bistek a la parilla.

I love Bodega for a GNO. The deep red and black ambiance and a variety of sangrias gives off a chic and sultry vibe before you hit the bars and clubs. Not to mention the tapas are out of this world.

You can order some tapas to share or as a snack, paella is amazing, you can join it with a glass of spanish wine, furniture and decoration is avant-garde #havetocheckin

Great experience in my favorite neighborhood in DC. Have the gorgeous cava sangria and taste the shrimp sautéed in garlic, mushrooms and the jamón. The paellas are delicious!

Not the best tapas I’ve ever had, but the service is excellent and sometimes that’s all you need after a long night.

Must try the pomeno peppers stuffed with beef short ribs, and ask to be seated in the heated outdoor patio. Its quiter and makes a great setting for good conversation n laughs.

Best tapas in DC for sure. Tortilla is best I've had since Spain. Same goes for croquetas. The $10 lunch box deal during the week is the best around- two tapas and soup or salad with manchego cheese

Shrimp sautéed in garlic is delicious, but the oil that it leaves behind is better than the shrimp itself. Soak it up with bread and your taste buds will explode.

Pleasant Spanish restaurant and bar. They play soccer and rugby games, if interested. They also have some great temperanillo.

Sangria was fabulous!!! Food was really great as well. Don't go with a large group as they won't split up the check. We spent 15 minutes trying to figure out who was paying for what!!!

The shrimp sautéed in garlic is great. And their non-alcoholic Mojito is not too shabby either.

They have Alhambra and Mahou beers, which are two of my 3 favorites from Spain. No Estrella Galicia though.

Have a glass of their amazing white sangria, made the authentic way with cava (not white wine as in certain other DC establishments)

Go to Bodega pretty much any night and ask for bartender Sachi or Tornike. They're the best. The tapas are good, but I go there mostly for the drinks and ambiance. My favorite late night hangout. Read more

Disappointing. Claim to be a Spanish tapas restaurant but they do not serve their food in the traditional Spanish tapas manner. If you are looking for tapas style, they don't have them here
