- Pacific UnionSeptember 4, 2013This recently remodeled park offers killer views, tennis courts, picnic tables, and a new children’s play structure and water feature. Fido will love the off-leash area, too. Read moreUpvoted Jan 28
- Emily FaraoneJune 21, 2016This park has incredible views all the way around. A perfect spot for hanging with friends or reading. There are also usually lots of dogs!
- Debby JacobyJuly 28, 2013Beautiful dog park on the east side of the park. Let your dogs run unleashed there. Beautiful kids play area on the west side of the park. Lots of awesome seating/lounging/picnicking areas for all
- The park reopened in July and I'm 80% sure it's run by and owned by the local dog population. I'm a dog owner, so it's awesome. If you don't like dogs, stay to the north side of the park.
- Paige CNovember 19, 2015Our dog loved this park! I love their turf grass - so much better than dirt or gravel!
- BérengerNovember 16, 2015Great spot to picnic when you are exploring. Go up there from Japantown, eat, go down on the other side to the coast!
- Kelly StrodlSeptember 9, 2011Unappreciated view of the bay and city. Catch a glimpse of Twin Peaks from here (my fav view of the city) and down to the bay over Pac Heights toward Sausalito and Alcatraz. Dog park big area.
- Stirling ScottJuly 6, 2015Had a good time chilling here with my friends during our recent trip to San Francisco.
- Seth BensonSeptember 26, 2013Most go to Alamo Square, but this place has some nice views of the bay. Underrated park.
- The park will be closed off in places until Spring 2013. The plans for the re-development look great but sadly some trees that are home to some pretty amazing wildlife (hawks!) will be cut down.
- Drew MeiserJuly 4, 2012Grab a sandwhich from Millers East Coast Deli on Polk inbetween Washington and Clay. Enjoy a relaxing view of the boats in the bay.
- Excellent tennis courts if you can play a game in 30mins
- Jess LMarch 15, 2016Me of my favorite playgrounds in SF - tons of great features, some shade, and gated.
- Charles LaigoFebruary 24, 2012Achtung Minen! Beware of "landmines". Other than that, its still one of the most relaxing, beautiful and scenic places in the city.
- Perfect for lunch. Grab a gourmet sandwich from Cheese Plus in Polk/Pacific, then stroll up to the park for sun and dog watching.
- Great place for young kids birthday parties. Enclosed kid only area. Nice playground. Picnic benches. And restrooms.
- Claire LeeJune 13, 2013Just reopened last Saturday - everything is brand new! Including a pretty awesome playground
- If you have a small dog go to the north side of the park. Bigger dogs go to the south. I don't know where people w/o dogs go. :-)
- Beware the "Enchanted Forest" on the NW corner of the park. Woods=hobo poo.
- Our park is still being held hostage after months of expensive construction delays by one woman's selfish quest for omnipotence. Thanks for ruining my dog's summer.
