Go to any one of the 4 or 5 great steakhouses and get a plate of beef that is just as good as the others. But when friends ask me where I’d go for steak, my answer is Hal’s On Old Ivy every time. Read more

Great steaks but big portions. An example is their 22-oz steak and the real true portion should be 3-4 ounces. Immediately ask for a “to go” box and put half of your steak in it to save for later. Read more

Even if you don't think you like creamed spinach, get some. You won't regret it. Also, the broth from the mussels is pure magic...take some bread and go to town.

Hal's house Rib eye is excellent!my rec is to ask them to go easy on the Cajun seasoning. Can get a bit salty.

Hal's bone in rib eye is the best steak in Atlanta... The leftovers that I take home and re-heat on my grille is the second best steak in Atlanta..

A great steakhouse with lots of positive energy!! Great service and management team! But, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Autumn, Whitney and Alisa are the prettiest bar staff in Atlanta!!

Super old school steak house. Guaranteed to be packed every night. I think there is better steak in Atlanta but fun ambience. Biggest negative/ you can smoke inside.

Amazing food. The trout with crabmeat just melted in your mouth. My favorite restaurant in Atlanta by far.

Try Cayrum, its a dark rum aged 3 years and then infused with all natural ginger and honey. Its great as a chilled shot, on the rocks, ginger ale/beer, juices or Red Bull. Theres nothing like it! Read more
