A cute Belgian chain cafe that has outdoor seating in front & a lovely back patio. A bit pricier but worth it for the relaxing atmosphere-surf, snack,& sip away. Their Summer berry trifle to die for!

Avocado cumin toast tartine was so good! I also like the turkey tartine but without the mustard. The chicken pot pie and raspberry tart were also excellent. Everything was light and delicious

Menu is a bit "fru fru" for my tastes. If you are looking for more traditional fare this is not your place. If you are looking for new experiences then have a seat and enjoy.

The best Le Pain in the Midtown East area. Fast and skilled service, extended menu and large seating area (including an outside area when weather permits). Avocado toast is a winner!

Finally a location in NYC that has tofu scramble ! : ) Love the pot of coffee and little soy milk container they give you. It's not cheep but its relaxing and a nice place to sit & freelance.

I love their tartines (turkey and avocado is the best!) and their coffee cups, but why so slow at lunch time? And it would be nice if they could turn air con down a bit - it's so cold inside :)

The garden in the back is awesome! Much better than sitting out front with the cars honking and puking exhaust.

LPQ has a chef driven menu- it's not burger king so No you can't "have it your way" expect great salads, low calorie yet filling tartines ( open face sandwich ) and friendly service!

Le Pain Quotidien means "The Daily Bread" in case anyone wasn't sure. When I see the word pain no matter what language it is I think of the English word meaning of "Pain." It's not a painful place.

They refuse to heat up my bread to "maintain the flavor profile". Shouldn't I get to decide that?
