Enormous selection of beer! I personally suggest King Prawns as a starter and a kilo of Provençale mussels to wrap up the meal. Staff is very friendly and has deep knowledge about the beer they serve.

Mussels are as delicious as people say they are, & surprisingly filling! Served in a bowl or pot with different sauces. Perfect with a Belgian beer.

If you like or miss mussels, here is your best option for London. Ambiance is also very different. Try Provençal or the coconut one. They also have beer bible, imagine the number.

Need to make a reservation for dinner. Food served quickly. Fave is the chicken with sweet chili and lime. Pecheresse is my must have beer

I recommend giving Trappist beers a try. Even the small bottles are surprisingly potent. They originate from the monastery breweries of the Trappist order, sold to make themselves self-sufficient.

Love the atmosphere there like being in a brewery. The selections of beers are vast and delicious. It was great years ago and still is fab with the new menu.

A great Belgian restaurant with a bar that you can enjoy a range of Trappiste beers with Bruges Zot on tap!

Definitely the Thai mussels. Light, nice kick with the heat, away from the traditional wine and cream sauce which can get very filling

I've tried the mussels, they're good. I've tried the burgers, they're very good. Beers? Try the fruit beers. And don't forget to book a table.

I've lost count of the times I've met friends for lunch in this subterranean cavern of a restaurant. The cheap Express Lunch is always great value, even though the beers and extras tempt you to go off

Lots of ceremony to go downstairs, specially when the restaurant is almost empty. The mussels are A-OK, I feel the sauces are getting worst with the years. Great beer selection.

Great mussels and risotto. Can be extremely loud though. Beers are a great selection but some funkier ones are a bit ropey

The poppe cheese croquettes were good to start, and ordered the poppe (Gruyere and spinach) mussels which were small but filling.

Don't just go for the cheapest beer or one you're familiar with. Explore the beer menu as much as the food menu.

You can sit at the restaurant or at the "family style" whatever they call it; we did the latter. Big mistakes unless you're in your twenties. Noisy and messy, it goes well with the poor food.

To get the most out of the sauces in your mussels pot, try poking the fries with your fork a few times before dunking. Finger-licking good!
