Enormous selection of beer! I personally suggest King Prawns as a starter and a kilo of Provençale mussels to wrap up the meal. Staff is very friendly and has deep knowledge about the beer they serve.
One of the best Belgian restaurants in London. Vast selection of Belgian beers & great Moules Frites. Highly recommend Barbar Honey beer and Thai Mussel Pot. Service Good too.Very popular, book ahead.
If you like or miss mussels, here is your best option for London. Ambiance is also very different. Try Provençal or the coconut one. They also have beer bible, imagine the number.
I recommend giving Trappist beers a try. Even the small bottles are surprisingly potent. They originate from the monastery breweries of the Trappist order, sold to make themselves self-sufficient.
Love the atmosphere there like being in a brewery. The selections of beers are vast and delicious. It was great years ago and still is fab with the new menu.
it used to be better but still a great place to go with friends! try the classic mussles!! the crepe I ordered for dessert was not as warm as it should but still ok.
I've lost count of the times I've met friends for lunch in this subterranean cavern of a restaurant. The cheap Express Lunch is always great value, even though the beers and extras tempt you to go off
Lots of ceremony to go downstairs, specially when the restaurant is almost empty. The mussels are A-OK, I feel the sauces are getting worst with the years. Great beer selection.
You can sit at the restaurant or at the "family style" whatever they call it; we did the latter. Big mistakes unless you're in your twenties. Noisy and messy, it goes well with the poor food.
Vegetarian option is delicious (ignore that everyone else is popping Mussels). Bouchée of wild mushrooms cooked in an orval beer & tarragon cream sauce with asparagus and button onions. Rochefort 10 Read more
An okay spot for mussel lovers but nothing special really. Fish and Chips wasn't outstanding either. Loads of beer to choose so that should please the beer lovers.
