Great beer at a great price in one of the loveliest pubs in London. If you poke your head in and it looks busy in the front it's still worth checking the back rooms and upstairs.

Great pub with stacks of character. Don't be fooled by the small front section, there are snugs/alcoves either side of the bar and a big lounge section behind with a good selection of Sam Adams beers.

Innocuous from the outside, pop in & experience this Victorian pub with lots of character. Sam Smith brewhouse. Recommend the Organic Chocolate Stout as something different.

Great pub with Victorian interior still in tact: near Holborn underground. Good beer, too: nice pint of Sam Smith's Old Brewery at a very reasonable £2.90

Victorian pub with sectioned wooden walls dividing it up around the bar, almost makes you feel as though you've stepped into a Dickens novel. Not too busy, and cheap drinks as it's a Samuel Smith pub.

Wicked layout! Impossible to find anyone. They do a wonderful DIY bloody Mary and the beer is really really good. Wheat organic beer and the cider taste like apples like real cider should taste!

They do food - lunch Mon-Sat & eve also Mon-Thu but this is hidden upstairs with no indication d/stairs that I spotted! Lager drinkers note they sell no brands - their Pure Brewed Lager is good though

A very classic Victorian boozer with beautiful partitioned bits - presumably to divide workmen in the saloon from ladies and gents elsewhere. Who knows, I'm making this stuff up.

Okay it has a cool interior. But that's not enough. Hugely disinterested staff, credit card surcharge (announced after you order), could do with a scrub. There are better places.
