- Lauren KeithAugust 18, 2018Easily my favourite theatre in London. Thought-provoking shows presented in an intimate setting. Like all old theatres, the stalls can be close together and seriously sloped.
- Sue ManJanuary 16, 2014Cosy little theatre, went to watch Mojo, avoid booking Dress Circle A21, B21, C21, D21 or E21 as you would not able to see the far left of the stage.
- FreshJanuary 27, 2018Go for the closer rows in stalls, because it can get claustrophobic with more remote options
- özgeSeptember 9, 2012Mini theatre. Tiny seats. Limited view from the balcony. Today was the last show of the "Spamalot",which was a privilage to see. Great cast!
- ShmulikAugust 8, 2013Lovely, intimate theatre but if you go invest in the more expensive seats. The circle is crammed and can be uncomfortable
- One of the most comfortable theatres I've been with sufficient legroom.
- David KelhamJuly 3, 2013They call the Upper Circle the Royal Circle here. Be careful when booking seats, lots of other London call the first level circle their Royal Circle. eg London Palladium.
- Marta GranéAugust 31, 2013Chimerica is a great play! The theater is very bad designed, most of the seats have a terrible view. I would suggest to buy tickets on the lower floor only.
- JayJune 9, 2012A fantastic double bill of South Downs and The Browning Version. Both shows 5 stars!!
- Yalin SolmazFebruary 9, 2014Extremely uncomfortable seats so come here when the play is really worth it. :)
- Merrily We Roll Along ends it season on 27th July 2013...Rush to this wonderful 5 star production!
- Old theatre with uncomfortable seats and small bar areas, so it feels always very crowded. Ushers seem to forget that you are a paying customer and can be borderline rude.
- Narnia FansFebruary 15, 2011Narnia actor Ben Barnes (Caspian) stared in Birdsong at this theater. He attended the world premiere of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but missed seeing the queen because he left to perform in Birdsong. Read more
- Worst seats of any theatre in the West End, cramped & minimal legroom.
