- Natalie DowneNovember 3, 2013Wonderfully quirky cinema. Lovely comfy seats and VIP sofas. For the best rum hot chocolate you've ever had order at the bar, partake in the free snacks then have your drink delivered to your seat!
- JackMarch 26, 2019Amazing film experience for those with a real passion for the artform. Rarely go anywhere else for film screenings these days. Comfy seating, quieter crowds, good food. All chains are 10/10.
- Evelyn J.December 14, 2014So lovely cinema, friendly staff and the hummus and garlic bread were very nice. So friendly staff. Sat in the first row and the screen was not too close. However, it gets really gold in the room.
- ElanyCApril 3, 2016The cinema was also known for its 'Midnight Special' gigs, in 1976 The Clash and Buzzcocks supported The Sex Pistols there. It was also the location of Sid Vicious debut with the Sex Pistols in 1977.
- Catarina BakerApril 18, 2015It's worth the extra money for the big seats. Going to the cinema should be more than just going to one of the chains and feel like part of the cattle. So this is definitely the pleat option!
- Dave LewisApril 10, 2014A fantastic concept and the way all good movies should be viewed, however for the same price you can get a sofa bed at the Electric Cinema ?
- My favourite cinema in London. Get the couches for a couple of quid extra, put your feet up and it'll feel like you're watching it at home
- Nicki FaulknerFebruary 6, 2016It's comfy, plenty of leg room, the bar is great. Love it. Worth paying a little extra.
- I love the sofas here. A real treat and one of my favourite cinemas in London.
- John BoothJuly 13, 2015Awesome independent cinema. Comfy seats, a bar and snacks will help you enjoy the film.
- Kid BaxiJuly 6, 2015Great cinema. Go for the sofas. A membership is a nice thing to have if you go often.
- Just how a proper cinema is supposed to be. Comfy seats, bar in the back, and everything is just good.
- Ministry of WaxingSeptember 23, 2013A charming independent cinema where you can catch the latest releases alongside quirky arthouse films for your culture fix.
- MissyJuly 12, 2013So cute! They have a great food menu for snacking while watching, and sofas for date nights.
- If your in town for a while maybe catch a movie at an independent cinema (avoid leicester square!). the Ritzy in Brixton is also nice.
- Glowco cameronMay 23, 2011Went to see Artw*nk, brilliant, sofa's great the Sauvignon Blanc was absolutely dire though, unless you like super uber dooper floral wines! Fab cinema tho
- Justin CollMarch 17, 2013Wonderful old cinema with sofas, tables, footrests and a bar in the auditorium! Perfect :-)
- Xavier BrinonSeptember 8, 2011Has got a lot fancier since the refurb and has a good screen (assume other Everyman ones are good too but not been to any of them) 83 Upper Street, N1 0N
- Sarwar OsmanJanuary 18, 2014Beautiful building and comfortable seating is a pleasure to enjoy the film 12 years of slaves
- Go for the sofa in row G, seats 7 & 8 - directly opposite the aisle, so an unimpeded view of the screen :)
- Everyman CinemasJune 11, 2012Everyman Screen on the Green's celebrated Late Nights returns for a brand new run, providing a wistful retrospective of some of the most beloved films from the 70s, 80s and 90's. Read more
- Tom HulmeAugust 30, 2014👪 kids club on a Saturday at 10am is a well kept secret - £5 for an adult and child. Check the specific timing and film online
- Jon ChanNovember 19, 2013Grab a comfy "couples" sofa, a bottle of wine and some delicious honeycomb bites
- Vic McGinJuly 16, 2015Going here is a real event, get a glass of wine and settle in. My only strange criticism is that the ladies toilet doesn't really flush...
- Laura CApril 18, 2013Don't sit in the front row as there is a really high stage in front of the screen which is bad for shorties like me.
- Paula HolmesJuly 30, 2012Salty popcorn and chocolate buttons ftw! Read my review here http://thephodiaries.com/screen-on-the-green/
- Annual membership worth getting - benefits good after only a few visits
- Order the honeycomb cheesecake. And then order another one. YUM.
- Thomas TaylorJanuary 1, 2016Everything about this place is awesome! Comfy assigned seats; double sofas with cushions at the back and side; a bar at the back that also serves food; and "at seat" service... Oh, and great movies!
- LondonistMay 18, 2011Pretty cool chain. The hampstead branch is a bit cosier, but this is a more historic building.
- Sam KingMarch 15, 2010Nice re-do, but don't sit on the extreme right of the rows, the floor lighting shines straight in your eyes. Very irritating.
- Get a sofa it's £2.50 more than the standard ticket and totally worth it. Comfort is key, no back ache here.
- Maxine MonuOctober 20, 2012Your seat number is on the back of YOUR seat, not the one on the seat in front, m'kay?
- Seth BindernagelAugust 9, 2010Nice bar in the back with snacks. Buy before the movie starts because it shuts just before showtime.
