As a pizza fanatic this was one of my favorite experiences in Chicago!! The wait is very well worth it! That Mediterranean bread is off the charts good and the pizza is simply delightful!! Love it!

Pizza pot pie with everything in it is a must. 1.5 hrs waiting at 10pm, so we ordered it to go (30 mins wait) and enjoyed it in our hotel which was only about 15 mins away. Still hot, fresh & YUM!!!!

What makes a simple salad is the assortment of dressings made in-house. Drinks offered could be better but that’s part of the rustic charm. pot pie is delicious, worth the wait for out of town guests

This place puts a whole new spin on deep dish pizza by putting it in a pie! Its food is delicious authentic (family-style) Italian, so come with lots of friends! Don't skip the Mediterranean bread!

Meat pizza pie was fantastic, one pound is definitely good enough for two people. Service was excellent, staff was constantly checking in on us. The wait was quite long, but in the end it was worth it

Pizza pot pie = amazing! Reasonably priced. We shared a large chef salad, flatbread & a large pizza between 3 ppl & it was plenty. Also, they don't accept cards, so make sure you bring enough cash

Forget the deep dish that Chicago is famous for and go straight here for the Pot Pie! The Mediterranean bread is decent too but too much for just two people! Expect a 1 hour wait -worth it :)

My mom, daughter and I split a chef salad, flatbread, and large meat pizza w/shrooms. Very filling and worth the hour and a half wait!

Most of the portions are big enough to share, and the overall atmosphere is really cozy. Great spot for a first date or any date night, really. The Half-Pounder is the way to go!

Went in to try the "Pizza Pot Pie" which was good. But their sandwiches were the star. Toasted perfectly & full of flavor. I suggest the meatball or sausage ....or maybe both.

Did your parents ever tell you to be patient? Expect to wait up to hours for what some locals call the best pizza in Chicago. Their pies are basically chicken pot pie, but made of gooey pizza!

This is my favorite restaurant. We always get a salad, their Mediterranean bread, and a pizza pot pie and everything is fantastic. They only take cash and they memorize your face to call for a table.

Have the Mediterranean Bread with a house salad. Mix the garlic & poppy seed dressing together, dip the bread into the dressing. Mmm tasty, & if you're there in the fall, try an adam's apple.

I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the pizza pot pie. It wasn’t bad, of course, but I wish you could choose your filling, that they cut up the mushrooms inside, and that the cheese on top was broiled.

...loved this place. Only one type of pizza pot pie.....and 5 sandwiches, so don't expect a "pizza selection".....its a unique experience......definitely far from the best pizza in Chicago....lol.

Stock up on the deliciousness! You can buy frozen pot pies, dressings, and those delicious little chocolates that come with the check.. Oh yea, don't try to pay with a credit card :)

The Mediterranean bread is delicious! Ask for olive oil on the side and make a delicious salt pepper parmesan olive oil mixture to dip in!
