Anthony IgnatiusApril 28, 2013Are you Hungry? Peckish? or craving for a little coffee? Pop into Platform's 7 & 8 where you can find a Starbucks chain. Downside is: they're a franchise; so you can't use your loyalty card!
District line section is an absolute disgrace, trains always late with staff that don't care to provide any updates on what's going on. Be prepared to have delays to your journey when traveling!!!
Platform 8 will always have trains that go to Clapham Junction and Waterloo. The District Line is at the back of the station and trams run from platform 1
I always miss the edgwar road train when I come from tolworth. Once I was lucky and I could catch it!

There's a great pick and mix joint at the entrance to the station. Good value and great product!

Edward NunnSeptember 14, 2012Getting on the District line? You can tell when the doors are about to shut as the signal at the end of the platform goes green about 20 seconds before the train is about to depart.

A South West Train service to London Waterloo running every 3 minutes during the day!

Dino's does good Bacon rolls in the mornings, tasty and fast!- There's a costa coffee and paperchase near the district line.
Oyster users should top-up at the corner shop outside the main entrance.
If you need the men's loos, the turnstile on the right works without needing to put any coins in
Contrary to popular belief, there are washroom facilities hidden away near the tube platforms.
@ mark if u look around the station there are posters with the samaratans working in partnership with network rail- Don't run if it's wet weather. A dangerous place, major slippage hazard!
If you are running for a District line train and the light at the end of the platform is red then you are stressing unnecessarily!
Grant CampbellOctober 18, 2010Coffee at AMT is better than any other plave especially Pumpkin and Starbucks- Bare in mind cars can no longer pick up passengers outside the front of the station as it has been paved over!
As I am often the Mayor I guess I should leave a tip...don't talk to strangers. Unless the tennis is on and they're cute.
Need a coffee on your journey? There's a Starbucks on platforms 7&8 and an AMT on the entrance level after you go through the gates.

Has anyone seen any Wombles here? Do they get this far from the common - just saw a woman dropping litter and didn't see it vanish. Or do they know when people are watching?

Be safe be sure always use a London black taxi come and get in get home safe
To get to Richmond go into Clapham Junction and change - the direct train is far slower!
