    Heading to Canary Wharf and the Jubilee is suspended? The alternative to going to Bank and getting the DLR is to go overland to Greenwich and get the DLR… much calmer.

    If really crowded take the northern line south to Borough and hop on the north-bound train there. You'll get a seat and avoid the rush!
