Jaime WojdowskiOctober 16, 2014"Best French toast" on the menu is not a lie. Caramel sauce and pecans, not to the thick cut bacon. If you're not getting this for brunch, what's wrong with you?! Get there before it sells out!
Great happy hour deals (only at the bar) and during the cold months they have a warm butter rum drink that is delicious!

A Columbia Heights staple. They do everything - dinner, brunch, cocktails, beer - well. They have an extensive Bloody Mary program for brunch that's worth exploring a few times!

Hands down the largest outdoor patio in this area- making people watching an added bonus to a stellar, seasonally changing menu.

Several times a month I get physical cravings for the buffalo shrimp appetizer. A little pricy but the if you catch it in happy hour it's a great deal and very filling.

The Fried French Toast Sticks are absolutely delicious. Crunchy, sweet and yummy. Highly recommend.

Terrific brunch here. Have tried at least a half-dozen items and have yet to walk away unsatisfied. Also, if you like Bloody Marys, they have an extensive, creative array.
Good beer. But, crappy food. Ordered chicken Caesar salad, got 1 oz of lettuce, three croutons and some chicken on the SIDE. How does that even approximate an ok Caesar salad?
I feel bad for people that don't order the buffalo shrimp. And for the love of god, order bread and soak up the extra sauce!
Hot Bourbon walnut cider with butter is decadent and hits the spot!

Get the BBQ pulled pork and corn cakes. Unbelievably good.
Ramon RichardsonJune 6, 2010The Turkey Hash and the "Best" French toast are must haves. Don't forget to top it off with a Bloody Mary. Sweet Sassy!- Just discovered they have wi-fi and parking validation for the DC United parking lot across the street.
- Ron makes a refreshing strawberry mint sparkling drink- great for the heat, and he does it in pitchers!
- They have great Bloody Marys. Hope that doesn't change when they have their makeover.
