You can volunteer to dog-walk here via New York Cares. For example, they have shifts every Sunday between 10:30am and 1pm for volunteers.

Stop in & take a shelter dog for a walk on your way home from work. The babies love to get out and need to be walked. You'll get exercise & they'll get a happy stroll around the hood. It's a win-win!
