- MeilissaOctober 13, 2014Komasa special dinner set is a great value for money. But don't miss out their amazing sushi! My favorite is salmon skin roll, spicy tuna roll, sweet shrimp, and salmon egg sushi. Yum!
- EaterNovember 6, 2013The waits can be crushing at this popular Little Tokyo sushi spot, but it might very well be worth the excellent spicy tuna rolls, salmon skin rolls, and fresh nigiri sushi served in small confines.
- DailyCandyFebruary 14, 2014This Little Tokyo gem seats less than 30 and often has lines out the door. Melt-in-your-mouth sweet shrimp and warm service are well worth the wait.
- All of the sushi is amazingly fresh. Very traditional spot with an old school sushi chef. Try the soft shell crab. It is among the best I've ever had.
- Christina MakSeptember 27, 2012It does get crowded here pretty fast but the food's pretty awesome especially their a la carte rolls...they're HUGE and the ochazuke is so good...one of the best I've had
- Marco MaranoMarch 23, 2010Went last Wednesday again..supreme sushi quality. Highly recommend the yellowtail (best I've had in LA, NY or SF). The maguro and salmon also melt in your mouth. Sake, beer and wine only but tasty..
- Los AngelesOctober 29, 2013Sushi Komasa is another Little Tokyo establishment, and at the cornerstone of their menu is a basic, but worthwhile chirashi bowl ($13).
- Can KagitcibasiFebruary 19, 2015Sushis are amazing and prices are so good and affordable. Sho chiku bai for cold sake for sure
- Neal RAugust 26, 2014Hands-down my favorite Japanese place. Haven't been able to go in 6 years because wait is never less than 1 hour.
- Marco MaranoMarch 23, 2010No joke get here early and get ready to wait. Easy to have a drink in J Town while waiting. They do not take reservations and are only open for dinner starting at 5.
- Get their seaweed salad. It's huge. Also, if there's a wait, it's worth it. They will probably bring you tea if it's cold outside.
- Ronal QuinteroJanuary 4, 2012Everything is good not pricey and full of Japanese...must be doing something right
- Huge slivers of ankimo only cost $5! Ama ebi and uni nigiri is only $5.50~
- seohyunJanuary 12, 2020초밥에서 비닐이 나왔어요 오래 기다리기도 하고 불친절하고 식당전체가 비위생적이였어요Vinyl came out of sushi. I waited a long time, was unkind, and the whole restaurant was unsanitary.
- Jackie RodriguezApril 15, 2015Qué bruto sabor y más fresco imposible! Auténtica japonesa! Mega recomendable.
