- James AlexanderSeptember 18, 2016The best Thai in Thai square. Pork jerky, morning glory, green mango salad and a fried fish. Oh might as well have a Tom kha gha chicken soup also.
- KatrinaNovember 20, 2014My favorite Thai restaurant in LA! Great for late night. Morning glory with fried pork belly is amazing!
- Lala ArakiApril 30, 2023Probably the best Thai food in LA. I love the panang beef curry, spicy catfish, morning glory with crispy pork, pork jerky, and papaya salad.
- Peter KooimanApril 13, 2017Have some moderately spicy soup and pair with Jasmine tea at dinner to feel awesome afterward.
- RainbeauDecember 27, 2018(cash only) I used to be pretty meh about Thai food, and then I was introduced to Ruen Pair. This place is legendary. You can tell how good a restaurant is by how far you’re willing to drive for it.
- Best pineapple fried rice I know of. Pork jerky is unreal 👌🏼 Great service, awesome people. One of my favorite spots in LA
- Melinda JacksonFebruary 9, 2015Cash only. I got the yellow chicken curry and asked for it to be spicy. It was delicious and perfectly spicy.
- I'm a true carnivore, but they have awesome veggie dishes. As others mentioned, the morning glory dish rocks, but the turnip omelette is also amazing! Never been disappointed by any meal here.
- JenniferNovember 3, 2015We devoured that fish. And everything else we ordered. Bring some cash and your appetite.
- OCMayOoFebruary 11, 2011Definitely Morning Glory with crispy pork. It's actually Chinese broccoli with crispy pork on the menu but, request 'em they will make it for you.
- Lost In A SupermarketJuly 3, 2011Perhaps the best inexpensive restaurant in LA. Papaya salad, Tom yung koong soup n panang curry r superb. Cash only, but open til 4 to absorb ur late night indulgences. Feast!
- Taste TerminalDecember 3, 2011The classic eatery features an expansive menu with all the familiar plates – curries, soups, and noodles. But for an extra kick, go for the crunchy morning glory or Chinese broccoli. Read more
- Papaya salad FTW. Also they'll make the crispy pork with morning glory if you ask.
- ivy♥August 9, 2010Get spicy raw crab (poo dong). Nuff said. And they don't take card. Expect a long wait on weekend. Don't forget to put ur name on the list when u get there. Service is not excellent but the food is :)
- One of the best Thai places in LA. Cheap with great pad Thai. And try the pineapple fried rice!
- Kenny JooOctober 24, 2013Pork jerky is rreeaallyy good and surprisingly tender while being crispy on the outside. Better than other places!
- SukhjeetJune 9, 2012If you like Thai food, this is a MUST, in middle of Thai town (by Los Feliz!), good green papaya salad and pad thai
- Cynthia de la TorreApril 15, 2013The crispy pork was like the Thai version of chicharrones, super tasty especially with the tangy, spicy vinegar sauce.
- AJ LJune 17, 2012The pineapple fried rice is savory and sweet, a perfect combination of spices. Also try the shrimp Tom Yum.
- AliceDecember 23, 2014Try papaya salad with raw crab, crispy pork jerky, spicy basil roast duck, and morning glory.
- Crispy pork and Chinese broccoli. Also try the egg salad but add Chinese sausages (it is so tasty)
- Maureen BharoochaSeptember 9, 2013Best dish is hands down the Beef Panang! Get it Thai Spicy if you're the adventurous type.
- Kenny KhuuAugust 12, 2018Thought the pad Thai was kinda bland; I usually like a balance of the vinegar and fish sauce and both were pretty weak. 2.5/5
- Kenny KhuuAugust 12, 2018Usually good, but was watered down today. Could be off day or part of the downward trend over the years... 2.5/5
- Kenny KhuuAugust 12, 2018Crab fried rice was pretty basic. Had a decent crab taste but was overall lacking in flavor and seasoning. 2.25/5
- Troy PaisleyNovember 30, 2016I'm really in no position to rate this establishment's food since I was never served. I sat there for 10 minutes and none of the staff attended my table to see if I wanted to order. Will not be back!!
- Khiem TranJanuary 14, 2012Their spicy noodles soup is the boat noodles soup elsewhere and its very good.
