This amphitheater, which could hold 15,000 people, is where ancient sports were played, circuses were held, and gladiator fights took place. A great place to learn more about the city's history.

Once a bloody Roman battleground, today a hidden playground. Instead of people playing pétanque, you can imagine the gladiators dueling in front of you. 👍🏼👎🏼

A Gallo-Roman amphitheater from the 1st century AD, it could seat more than 15,000 people, and was used as a theater, circus (wild animals and gladiatorial contests) and sporting arena.

Les Arènes de Lutèce étaient par le passé un terrain de jeu sanglant pour les gladiateurs et les courses de chars. Mais on oublie souvent de mentionner les batailles navales également !

Excellent spot pour la pétanque niché au cœur du 5eme arrondissement.Attention le gardien chasse les visiteurs a 21h15 l'été et ça ne traîne pas !

Faites un retour en arrière là où les gladiateurs s’affrontaient à l’époque gallo-romaine ! Il s’avère que cet amphithéâtre offre aujourd’hui un terrain de jeu parfait pour les boulistes en herbe !

로마때부터의 유서 깊은 장소라고 하던데 그냥 동네 공원으로 쓰이고 있음. 일부러 꼭 찾아올 만한 가치인지는 모르겠고, 근처 번화가를 들르다가 쉬고 싶을 때 여기에 와서 앉아있으면 좋을 듯 함.
