La Duree is the classic macaron, but Pierre Herme is impressive flavor-wise. The olive oil + vanilla is my favorite (weird, I know), and their other desserts (rose croissant?!) are great too!

Be prepared to wait in line but so worth it. Macaroons, truffles and Flacon (I had the Bayadère) are delicate and well balanced. Great place for gifts.

Worth the long lines! The macarons are much lighter and less sweet than a Lauduree and other shops, so the flavors really stand out. Try their signature flavor "Arabesque" (apricot and pistachio)

I tried several, and Hermé still having the best macarons in Paris. Pricey, but they worth. Tip: buy more macarons and leave them on the fridge to eat on the next day: the flavour will be more intense

A MUST do in Paris - the best macaron in the city IMO. The 2mille feuille is also the best pastry there - promise you won't regret it!

Get the salted caramel, olive oil vanilla. I prefer this place over la duree anytime. Great for presents. Ice package it for presents. Also good icecream. Go to the le marais one for shorter lines.

Went there for my wife's birthday macaroons. No wait and very friendly service even with our limited French. We should have done some research first but plan B was to just take home a large sample.

There's crazy hype about Laduree's macaroons, but I'm partial for Pierre Herme. Exquisite flavors that change frequently. The earlier in the day, the better! Sometimes they run out of best sellers!

Infinite chocolate, infinite vanilla.... Just get anything that begins with “infinite” or contains “ispahan.” It’s the way to go. (But don’t pass on the croissants, especially the flavored ones.)

This trendy pastry shop in the 6th arrondissement makes some delictable desserts. Fantastic truffles and the macarons have a superb texture and unique flavor, we recommend the Crème Brûlée flavor!

Worth the wait! Make sure to try the salted caramel and passion fruit and mint macaroons. Smallest box is seven macaroons for 13 euro.

These are my favorite macarons. While they have fewer flavor combinations than other macaron houses, the ones they have are the best.

absolute top pick for macarons. seasonal flavours like green tea white chocolate, foie gras white chocolate. they're well known for their mogador flavor which is passion fruit and chocolate.
