- Gergő VarkolyAugust 13, 2015Awesome ice-creams! I tried a lot of gelato in Rome, but I think this is the best! Lot of tables, chairs, people, and about 50 kind of tastest. They serve the ice-cream with home-made ehipped cream!
- Buford BarnesJanuary 18, 2018Open nearly 140 years. Beyond gelato, it offers goodies like cassata, tartufo, ice cream cakes and other desserts. In cold months, the gelateria serves hot chocolate, sweet crepes and hot ice cream.
- Andrei AghiMarch 7, 2016Very good icecream and also good prices. I would sugest to try all the products without the whipped cream, because this wat you will enjoy the flavours much better.
- As one of the most famous ice cream parlours in Rome, it deserves the fame. Mint and caffe are dope. Until february, on wednesdays there's %50 discount for ice cream, on fridays desserts are 7 euros.
- Paul T.September 18, 2019The rice and zabaione flavors are my favorite. You pay for your gelato first and then select your flavors at the gelato counter after.
- Josh TaroliMay 29, 20173 flavors for 1,60€ - not one of the best gelati I had in Rome, but still worth the refreshing break + the place has its own special stuck in time vibes
- Leo LiuApril 12, 2015There are so many tasty and yummy flavor n we choose rice, chestnut, mandarino. mandarino was so fresh and we also prefer riso flavor. The price was not too expensive. We recommend this shop.
- Tim HodgesAugust 15, 2014Amazing value and the cones are huge! You get four scoops in a cone - choose wisely! Lemon Sorbet is an excellent choice as is the vanilla.
- kdu63!skiAugust 17, 2013Great value and good quality in one of the oldest ice cream parlours in the world (founded in 1880).
- Tina FishyAugust 8, 2016Best gelato in Rome! Must eat, cheap and amazing treat. Try the fig, pistachio and banana.
- Lord Rafael GlencoeNovember 26, 2012The best gelato I've ever had in Rome! So many flavored to choose from.. Been going back and forth for the past week and can't stop going for more!
- Danny AindowAugust 9, 2014We skipped dessert at a nearby restaurant and came here for instead, it was a great choice! Pistachio was the best I've ever tasted.
- Manuel KoppensteinerJuly 21, 20184 balls for 3€ and by far the best ice cream I've eaten so far. If you visit Rome, come here.
- Warning: If you want to eat these great ice creams in January, don't eat a slice of cassata after the ice cream. Or you risk a sore throat, experience speaks.
- Nick ZeroMay 11, 2015The oldest, but not the best gelateria in Rome. Not worth a visit on it's own, but if passing-by a 10 min detour may give you a sense of how it was back in a days. Unique in it's spacious hall.
- Gabi BulumacAugust 16, 2014Probably the most well known gelato shop in Rome!!! Palazzo del Freddo di Giovanni Fassi is a piece of history .....but i found a better ice cream in Rome ;)
- Pedro AFebruary 18, 2016Easily the best ice cream in Rome! And also very cheap (small: 1,8€; medium: 2€; big: 3€).
- Marisa CFebruary 26, 2016Staff is friendly and multilingual! Lots of flavors of gelato and other ice cream snacks too :)
- Sepehr Y. KomaAugust 8, 2017Good ice cream. It is cheap and you can get free cream on top. A huge variance of flavours. However cone is the worst one.
- 〽️ariyaJune 2, 2017The best gelatos in Rome!!! ❤️🇮🇹 Huge variance of flavours and you want to try them all🙌
- Mehdi KermallyMay 22, 2016Excellent gelato (2€MED) with a huge variety. Great place to hang as well.
- RSeptember 24, 2015Wide tasty ice creams selection. 😍 always been inlove with dark chocolate flavour.
- SilviaDecember 19, 2018Nice but too crowded... You can find great ice-creams also in smaller ice-cream shops even nearby.
- Alena AlekhinaApril 17, 2013Simply the best. Try pistachio shake. No credit cards, bring cash. Take a beautiful free postcard from the cashier.
- Jesús TroyaFebruary 3, 2017Good ice cream, very good price, offer on Tuesday. Very good environment.
- Esteban DidoAugust 12, 2017Cost-benefit-Ratio is amazing! Compared to the competition e.g. Giolitti. Only weakness: the location
- Christopher LongJuly 31, 2012Order your gelato to the right and then push through to get your flavors. Pretend you are Italian and be aggressive.
- Eugene RudyyAugust 17, 2011Try best ice cream here. Its also the oldest gelateria in Italia. A piece of history with tasty panna:)
- NatalieJune 19, 2014Pistachio is the best choice! Don't forget to grab a pretty postcard from the cash for free!
- Damiano CerroneAugust 7, 2014It's cheap icecream, you get what you pay. Workers are sloppy, they use the same spoon for different tastes so they mix everything up. It's dirty as well, there is whipped cream spread all over
