- Nothing fancy here. ...just solid banh mi. If its your first time try their BBQ pork sandwich. It's the signature item with Vietnamese grilled pork with lots of butter, and veggies.
- Hard to beat a $6 huge bowl of bbq pork, chicken, or beef on top of rice vermicelli and a couple of egg rolls if you choose the "a" option.
- The meatball sandwich is amazing. It's apparently chicken meatballs shredded like chicken salad mixed in yumminess.
- AptravelerJuly 26, 2013Get here early during rush hours, the ace get crazy with people, and at night, the kitchen closes 30min before 9PM
- NikkiMarch 3, 2014Best sandwich. My fav is chicken with pâté. My bf's fav is BBQ beef with fried egg
- Lizzy BuftonMay 30, 2011Cheap and tasty banh mi (vietnamese sandwiches)! It's not on the menu, but they will make one delicious tofu banh mi if you ask!
- December is a great time to eat at Don's... You don't have to rely on their AC working correctly! :)
- Isabel Chinas CarballoNovember 12, 2015I use to come here all the time and now I will never go to this place. I found an insect or roach in my wonton soup. I was completely disgusted and my husband told them. Nothing was done. Disappointed
- Henry's Hungry HoustonNovember 26, 2010They sell the most authentic, best-priced Banh Mis (Vietnamese sandwiches) in town here! Get the beef one with a fried egg. Sandwich $2.75.
- Lisa KFebruary 19, 2013Make sure you ask for the extras including srirachi or cutting the sandwich in half when you order or they will talk shit about you
- Try the spring rolls with nuoc mam instead of peanut sauce. Fantastic.
- Free tea. Typical Vietnamese sandwich, vermicelli, and grilled meats place. Easy to feed a family for $15.
- c dJanuary 27, 2010Check out the BBQ pork sandwiches here, they are the best in town! They also have great vermicelli dishes.
- The bahn mi is very good and cheap. Buy 5, get 1 free.
- This place goes through jalapeños as fast as tex mex joints! Lovin it.
- Cheap, good, authentic, ... what else do you need to know to come in and try it!?!?
- Service has become somewhat unfriendly here. Not that service was ever good to begin with but it went from typical not much service to somewhat unfriendly service
- Jessica TranMay 21, 2014Bring cash. The Hispanic guy on the phone doesn't really understand English..
- You can't go wrong with the Number 1, BBQ Pork sandwich.
