- The organ, built in 1868, is the only organ of its size still working and in its original acoustical space. The pipes are up to 25 feet tall and were voiced specifically for the cathedral.

- Old St. Pat's still has real candles to light. The priest is a cool young dude. It's always nice to be out in NYC early on a Sunday morning when the streets are empty and quiet.
