Pickpockets and vagrants live here...everything you hope for when you visit an establishment. Oh well, what do you expect in this welfare state a.k.a. D.C.

My coffee spilled at work so I went back to purchase a new one, they recognized me from earlier and simply asked what I had and made it again without charge. Nicest staff!

Staff are always friendly and straight up. Btw Chinatown coffee is NOT better, believe me, I tried it.

If it's too crowded downstairs, there's a secret and very quiet upstairs. Stairs are in the back.
Calories posted on baked goods are traumatizing.- Warning: if you get a cup from the clover machine it takes forever. I ordered at 8, didn't get my coffee until 8:35.
Staff seems to be quite slow. Downstairs music is much louder than the quiet upstairs. Otherwise, great location.

Slowest Starbucks in the city, and never an apology or attempt at urgency. I leave irritated every time. I don't come to Starbucks for quality; I come for speed. Here I get neither.
