    Elevated station. Both sides service uptown and downtown. Only west side entrance is protected from weather!

    You can now switch to either the downtown or uptown sides without having to re-enter the station (you used to not be able too until recently) very useful instead of waiting until 168th to do it next.

    sitting on the east side seats across from windows will get you zapped by sunset rays if you are not careful. Also don't be a douche..handover seats to the elderly, pregnant or disabled.

    This is an easy check in if you ride this train to or from northern Manhattan or the Bronx often. Do it while above ground.
