Personally I like the food here more than @ Ihawan or the many other Filipino spots along 69 St & Roosevelt. This place is clean + service was excellent- made u feel "at home."

Tortang talon, Bicol express are awesome. BBQ is great but a little measly. Overall, almost as good as my dad used to make.

Recommended: Sizzling sisig, tokwa at baboy, crispy pata, chicken adobo, laing, pancit bihon, Bicol express. The crispy pata, a whole pig hoof, is enormous — a crowning glory. Read more

It's great for a Saturday Filipino brunch: food like Mom used to make & not crazy crowded. Their arroz caldo (rice congee w/ chicken) is good comfort food. Just ask them to tone down the garlic.

All about the pork. Sizzling sisag and (if you are a little bold) crispy pata.
