The Tampiquena de Carne Asada was incredible! A definite must! This should also be socialized with margarita! Don't have the Pollo Abodado! Very overdone...otherwise, my was amazing!!!
Table side guac tastes good. Not sure if it is worth it (enough for one bowl of chips). Mole Poblano is kinda sweet sauce (not my type). Outdoor seating is great. Good margaritas.
The tequila menu is extensive & fabulous. Vegan, gluten-free tacos are delicious. Don't need to order a side of beans--they bring black beans to the table. The guac is quite good, though spendy.
I don't like neither guacamole nor avocado but this guacamole was incredibly delicious! Please give it a try and you won't regret! Also best nachos I've ever tried. Mango margarita is good too :)
Get the guac. So good. The Chile Pablano Relleno was excellent - the bed of asparagus was a nice addition. And, the rice was unexpectedly good: soft and creamy, almost like a risotto.
Awesome views. Guacamole is a must. I wasn't impressed with their entree menu. We ended up having beef enchiladas and they weren't that good to me. Service was excellent. Friendly staff as well.
From their award-winning tableside guacamole to their signature pomegranate margaritas, Rosa Mexicano is the "gold standard" in "upscale" modern Mexican cuisine -- and the best National Harbor eats.
Guacamole made fresh in front of your eyes. Very tasty. However the vegan options at this restaurant are completely lacking which is surprising for a cuisine of rice and beans.
Steak and chicken tacos are both delicious. Thought I wouldn't like it cause I'm used to Tex Mex but it was great! The sides are great too, definitely recommend trying
The place itself is well decorated and provides nice views of the water and surrounding landscape. Service was pretty good, but entrees did take rather long to come out. Food was decent. 3.7/5.
THEY HAVE THE BEST GUACAMOLE! Also loved the tortilla soup-- so good! The ceviche is a "don't"!. If in the bar, sit near bartender Cory- you'll laugh all night and he's cute too! :)
I tell you what, happy hour is not worth it. Very tiny margaritas, and the street “tacos” were comically small. The tacos filling was good with impossible chorizo but terrible prices.
The jumbo lump crabfajitas is quite sour. I should have enjoyed it better if the shell is not included. It is very expensive. Butterflied red snapper is just okay nothing really special.
Avoid it, unless you enjoy tartare a la creme brûlée, mayonnaiseempanadas and other atrocities against Mexican food. Not to be confused with the NYC branch which maintains its standard.
