- For the bold, this is authentic Filipino food, not fusion/modern. Crispy pata (deep fried pork leg) is a must. Pork belly sisig is also good. The garlic rice can be too strong for some. Try the turon!
- Almost always packed, and full of Filipinos (great sign). They've been successful enough to upgrade to a nicer spot next door. The food is legit - I've never had a dish from here that I didn't enjoy
- FrancescaJanuary 2, 2016Get the bangus and share it with friends. To avoid the wait, I recommended coming in the late afternoon or early morning for breakfast.
- The Avocado Shake is absolutely amazing! I love it! The ukoy & tuna belly is delicious, i'm always ordering it! The service is really good! Highly recommended!
- Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent ambiance. What else do you need? Perfect for large groups. Semi-private dining area available with TV screens.
- BrooklynBoyOJuly 9, 2014You're about to have an AWESOME meal. You'll NEVER forget today. But be careful & save room for dessert. Order the Halo Halo. You can then either thank me in heaven, or, just like this post now.
- Bianca ConsunjiJune 1, 2013It's not easy to find an authentic Filipino restaurant in Manhattan, so the trek to Sunnyside for Tito Rad'a is necessary. The tuna belly is moist and flavorful. Servings are large.
- NetsirkDecember 21, 2014Authentic family run Filipino resto. Lots of seating and good service. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Cebuano style food! Try their halo halo in a mug and lechon kawali. Lami kaayo!
- Paul GaviriaMay 16, 2016Great authentic Filipino but needs better service. Wasn't a full house and I sat alone. I had to waive my server to me to get her attention.
- Diane ChangJanuary 30, 2012If you have the fried pork belly (delicious and crispy) you need to share with 4-6 people as it's way too rich for one meal and doesn't come with veggies.
- nikkiAugust 12, 2017massive portions, great for groups and family style eating. expect leftovers, which are always better anyway
- Chinky Grace VaronaJuly 7, 2015When you order make sure its the filipino way and when i say that it means order everything at once even the dessert or else they'll forget. Been here twice first i had an ok experience, 2nd worst.
- Superb food but very affordable! Now they have "kinilaw" the Filipino version of Sushi! Try it!
- Alexa SolimaMarch 21, 2015Favorite Filipino restaurant. My family's been going here for years. Very authentic and contains a variety of traditional Filipino food. 👌
- They just opened a completely new restaurant right next door. Really nice. People are super friendly here and the food is great!
- Best Filipino restaurant in NYC, hands down. Go here if you have a big group and want the best as close to home cooked meals.
- Jackie ChanFebruary 16, 2011Cassava cake is smooth and not too sweet and dream worthy. Great service, legit Filipino food. Don't be scared to take non Filipinos here!
- ask for recommendations if you don't know what to get. the staff is cery friendly & glad to help. personal favorite: pinaksiw na lechon!
- Rory ParnessJuly 9, 2015Excellent food and service. Pick a category and let the waiter/waitress take it from there. You won't be disappointed
- Raul Jimenez IINovember 18, 2016Came as a couple, wish we brought 8 more people. Delicious food, wanted to try everything!
- Best Filipino restaurant in NYC. Everything is just good.
- Kimmie OhhNovember 17, 2019The food here is okay. I’ve heard people rave about their grilled tuna belly & grilled tuna jaw.
- The MeistNovember 18, 2015Portions are very small but nevertheless It's as authentic as it gets. Amazing tasting food.
- samantha hankinsAugust 9, 2014Go out of my way to come here for the crispy pata!! This place feels like home.
- ElizabethMarch 2, 2013Ukoy for an app is a MUST! I also cheated and had the avocado shake with my meal.
- Best Filipino restaurant in queens without a doubt. Quality food and service.
- Regina ChanFebruary 15, 2019Friendly staff. Halo halo is pretty good. Otherwise, everything else is just okay. I'd go back to support the family business but wouldn't go out of my way for this.
- Danielle O.September 5, 2013Great food but too small. Got there before the rest of my party and they kicked me out of my table. My party arrived shortly after and we waited an hour to be reseated. They need to move spaces ASAP!
- Shirley LimongiNovember 22, 2014For authentic Filipino food, this is your go to place! Steps away from train.
- Everything is soooo good. They moved next door for a bigger place...
- Monica KeyportSeptember 14, 2018Never have I felt more discriminated against than here. It's 2018; unacceptable that we are judged by our own for our color, language or status. It's a problem you should address. Train your people.
