If you're looking for traditional Vietnamese dishes served in a lavish setting, this is the place you want. Choose from a wide variety of noodle dishes, and don't miss the pot stickers & spring rolls!
I go here every year to celebrate my birthday. Great food, generous portions, friendly service. TRY THE Mekong Spicy Fish. Great flavor. The basilelevates it to a masterpiece.
We made a tradition of returning once a year when we come back to the US. Love they still have 1/2 price appetizers # the bar. Fried sticky rice and quail-- One of my favorite dishes there.
The charbroiled Vietnamese fajitas are a fusion of both the old and new worlds, and the Vietnamese crepes, garlic butterfried shrimp and sugarcaneshrimp are not to be missed.
Ask for mgr if you must, in order to get your check-in deal if the waiter claims to not know! Keep in mind, that the 10% off, is ONLY off of ONE meal instead of the entire order like most restaurants!
I did not have a better General Tso's chicken than at this place: large, tender, juicy chunks of meat with delicious crust from outside. That's how this dish should be prepared!
In 1982, Kim Su Tran La, opened the second Kim Son in Houston’s Old Chinatown downtown. The first Kim Son was in Vinh Long province at the tip of southern Vietnam.
Boy, has this place gone downhill! Not only have they pared their menu down to a single sheet, but the food is nowhere near as good, and customer service is non-existent. So sad. =(
I guess my palate is too finicky but the general tso's chicken and their sesame chicken is AWFUL!! It tastes fishy!!! Took 1 bite and returned the platter.. NASTY! Not coming back.
We went for a treat night recently and got sub-standard food and rudeness instead of customer service. We used to be such big fans; it broke our hearts to leave angry. Horrible experience!
