- ᴡ ChuaJanuary 9, 2016You can't go wrong with their pho. We picked rare beef pho and added meatballs and tendon since we are sharing. For the who prefer rice meals, shaken beef is very tasty.
- Alex GronbachMarch 23, 2018Arrived just before they closed for lunch, and was informed that the kitchen closed in 3 minutes, but was still was able to order. Great service, and a tasty bowl of pho to boot. Will be going back!
- Tim MacalinoFebruary 7, 2018Try the beef shank pho with carrots, egg noodles and Vietnamese spices The dish taste like a classic beef stew with all the ideas of pho. SUPERB!!
- Authentic Vietnamese and great value. Get the Bun Cha Ha Noi for a delicious grilled pork belly and noodle lunch.
- Sandra CifoNovember 23, 2019The fried rolls, and the Bun Moc with all shorts of por was delicious. Super friendly service and really fair price. We shared for 2 people and was more then enough
- Carmen IbarraOctober 16, 2014Ordered the prawn, calamari, and green papaya salad and also the lemon grass pork bahn mee... Tip: save some of the salad greens to "dress" the sandwich!!
- If you order vermicelli be sure to ask to add the grilled shrimp. Bun Ga Xa + grilled shrimp here is amazing!
- Hue rolls are unique and really tasty, great presentation. Bun Rieu and Bun Bo Hue take the cake for soups!
- Andrew HogueOctober 19, 2012If you're not feeling like a big bowl of steaming hot pho, go for the chili-lemongrass chicken with rice. And always drop a fried egg on it.
- Alex KhadikovaDecember 3, 2015They have the best deep fried rolls (Cha Gio) ever. If you are there for Vietnamese coffee, keep it mind it's cold there but really good.
- Chris EdwardsJune 13, 2015Good variety of northern and southern Vietnamese dishes here. The Bo Kho (beef stew) is one of the more authentic renditions I've tried in SF.
- _March 18, 2016Pleasantly surprised by this place! The food is actually good! Order the lemongrass beef roll!
- *Everything* I tried here was great. So much so that this is the one and only restaurant where I asked for *second* main dish. Just go and enjoy.
- Jade FDecember 4, 2016Pho Bo is excellent. Get the beef balls as well! 🍜 Huge serving sizes, so come hungry!
- Jo ApplebySeptember 10, 2015Love the vegetarian bun. The deep fried veggie rolls are delicious. I don't miss the meat.
- Tammy HanMarch 13, 2017The noodles don't taste traditional but the banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes) are excellent & huge portions!
- Chez StockSeptember 28, 2017Very dark & flavourful broth in the pho tai. Served with the standards plus pickled onion! So friggin good that I asked for more onion
- Love the Phō Bo. Get them extra meat balls! The spicy wings are also good!
- Nic ClimerAugust 21, 2014Papaya salad, chicken wings, beef pho, lemon grass chicken. All pho-king amazing!
- Required: whole young coconut. Suggested: pho ga or bun rieu. Room for more? Try the lotus salad.
- Elisabeth LongshoreJuly 9, 2017There was something different about this pho ga. Something that made it all the more wonderful. You gotta go. The reviews are true.
- Flora ChengJune 8, 2017Must get tin rolls! You should skip the dry noodle bowls. Claypot fish was too savory to eat by itself but good with rice.
- Michael MontoyaAugust 12, 2016I had the lemongrass chicken noodle bowl and it was so good. Come here hungry because the portions are huge!
- Julia LuMarch 24, 2019A little pricey, the pho was pretty average, but if you come here you have to order the hue rolls they are so flavorful and delicious!
- Timothy HongMarch 25, 2018Hue rolls, catfish and shrimp vermicelli bowls and don’t forget to add the fried rolls to those ;)
- I love so much here. All the pho is pho-nomenal, even the veggie one. The spring rolls are especially good with the sesame peanut sauce. I love the claypot catfish (although it may be a little salty)
- Arvind R.November 15, 2012Good. I recommend the vegetable noodle soup. Vegetables, tofu, and vermicelli noodles, in a vegetable broth. Not super flavorful but a good lunch.
- When drinking beer, choose the Scrimshaw pilsner beer. Tastes like honey and your date will love it
- Marc NgJune 18, 2018Nice pho, good flavour. Small place so can be busy and you have to wait for a table.
- Thê-Minh TrinhSeptember 7, 2014The Lotus root salad is excellent. The Pho Bo not that much: small, quite tasteless and they use vermicelli instead of noodles :( Apart from that, the place is really clean!
- Delicious fresh Vietnamese food. Great selection for vegetarians too.
- Ruben Garcia MohedanoNovember 1, 2018Hue Rolls are to die for!! Beef Shank Pho is super tasty and so filling
- Dan CastellanoFebruary 12, 2017Really authentic Vietnamese, come early or be prepared to wait in line
- España SheriffDecember 1, 2012No frills decor. Good food with fresh ingredients. My Vietnames coworker at my old job loved this place, so might even be 'authentic' ;)
- cyn kMarch 27, 2014Bun Bo Hue if you want spicy soup. Cha Gio for spring rolls with lettuce and dipping sauce on the side.
- j bluDecember 5, 2013Try their clay pot catfish - flavorful reduction rather than watery broth...best clay pot in the city!
- Wonton noodle and bun bo hue were both amazing. I don't think you can go wrong here.
- Arjun SundararajanJuly 31, 2014Pho with Veggie broth. Yum. So good for my sore throat. Don't accidentally touch your face after you touch the jalapeño.
- Order a Pho Ga after a long day at work, and your life balance will be restored. Also get the sautéed greens as a side.
- Tobias KemperMay 8, 2012Great service, quiet location and good selection of tasty food that was served fast. Great for lunch! (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

- Tina WongFebruary 10, 2013It's one of the cleanest Vietnamese restaurants in the city. Love the presentation, service and food was delicious
- The Pho Bo is one of the best beef broths in the city. Can't go wrong with the spring rolls either!
- Donna TamAugust 8, 2013The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious. Good flavor for the meat and the sauce. Just like mom makes :)
- David RApril 14, 2017Decent Vietnamese spot. For lunch, get there by 11:30 or be prepared to wait. Meat is often cheap and very chewy.
- Jenny UngApril 11, 2016Service is average. Pho broth is dark bc they use a powder to add flavor, & noodles break while eating bc they are sitting too long waiting for soup to be poured in. Decent Cha Gio eggrolls though.
