great views of the Tarmac! Nice and quiet on a Sunday afternoon. it's also pre security, so nice that I could bring in guests even if they weren't flying United today (:
The club is dated like the airport. But the desk staff are some of the best in the business. And I love the lounge by the bar...it has great views of the tarmac.
If you still happen to fly United after 3/3/12 (Continental takeover), and she still works there, Susan C. at the front desk will take very good care of you. She is an awesome United employee.
The friendly staff is what makes this lounge great. They are excellent when your flights need changes. Not a posh interior by any means, but hey...this is La Guardia-- what do you expect?
If you drive to the airport, park on Level 4 of the garage and enter the Red Carpet Club via the door on that level. You remain indoors the whole time.
THIS is the club where UA flights are. The other club (concourse A) is the old CO Presidents Club. Old but not bad. Outside security, alas. Decent club, nice staff.
Surprisngly nice considering we're talking about LGA here. Remember, this club is NOT within the secure zone of the airport so give yourself extra time to get through security.
Staff seems nice. Not exactly an executive offering. Needs a new lighting design and who's dopey idea was it to place the club BEFORE the security check-in.
