best pizza in dc. vace's technique is to bake the cheese on the dough and add the sauce on top so you can enjoy a crunchier crust.

Amazing (slices & whole pies to go) pizza!!!! Their sandwiches are pretty good too. Get your sandwich on homemade focaccia. So good!!! Take out only.

spinach white pizza is the BEST and you can't go wrong with the classic cheese pizza. best italian prosciutto and soppressata around... the homemade fresh mozzarella is ridic.

Those who suggest this place serves "the best pizza in DC" are blatantly ignorant. Try Il Canale or 2Amys, then talk. However Vace's sauce-on-top-of-cheese offering is still pretty good regardless.

VACE's is a DC institution! The pizza is outrageously delicious and the Italian cold cut sub is big and tasty.
