- Wendy WangOctober 29, 2014Ask for the Mofongo! It's an off menu item that is too delcious to pass up. Mashed plantains with shredded meat served with plantain chips to scoop. You can get it as an appetizer or main meal.
- Diane Lucille SuarezNovember 21, 2015Coconut shrimp, avocado salad & Churrasco. That's all you need to know. I have been coming here with my mother for probably over 10 years. It's always a sure thing. Oh and the plantains w/ garlic oil.
- Cybelle TOctober 24, 2013This is one of my favorite restaurants! Food is amazing! No matter what you get, you'll be satisfied! Churrasco o chicharron de pollo always do it for me!
- Kimmie OhhJuly 16, 2020Get the mariquitas (thinly sliced, crispy plantain chips with garlic mojo) & the churrasco (skirt steak with chimichurri & cebollitas). The Pollo Jamaiquina is basically jerk chicken.
- Everything in their menu is good. Try their mariquitas, bacalaitos and empanadas. Their staff is very attentive and courteous.
- __TR3VDecember 2, 2014the sangria is everything! they have a few options, but go for the one with the rum! #amazing
- Lala LopezMay 24, 2011Best of the 3 locations in New York. Prepare yourself for large portions and lots of salsa music. The red sangria is a must, by the pitcher, it's sweeter that way ;)
- Jessica A.May 12, 2015The tostones rellenos are a-ma-zing. Big portions and good prices. We found our new spot in the area. :)
- corinne monteroApril 12, 2013The food is amazing!! Coconut mojiito is hands down the best. Small so there might be a wait but it's truly worth it
- Elizabeth MeloNovember 11, 2010The pollo con camarones is the best plate I've ever had in my life! The garlic-wine sauce they use is orgasmic! Literally!!! As for desert, definitely try the pastelitos, highly recommended.

- Chris DMarch 23, 2013Food is amazing here.... Try the churrascho with yellow rice and beans... And get a coconut mojito.... You gotta do it right!!!
- Keith McDonald CharlesMay 18, 2016Unbelievable....!!! but heard the big time developers want that whole corner, commonly called resturant row .......so eat up fast because bulldozers & construction don't like cocojitos 🌹🌹🌹 Friends
- eb davisMarch 19, 2017the food was good not truly excellent but the sangria was to die for!! the hour long wait to be seated was ridiculous

- John FlorioDecember 21, 2015Me and my fiancé went here for Valentines Day. The served us frozen (like still ice cold and rock hard frozen) empanadas. Charges us full price no drink on the house to make up for it.
- Mike SeilbackAugust 4, 2011Churrasco (skirt steak) was delicious - drinks were tasty, strong and reasonably priced and the appetizer chicken wings were great.
- L. T.April 3, 2015The tostones were a bit dry but everything else is lovely. The lunch menu is great.
- Alex OropezaOctober 24, 2010The churrasco was unexceptional...every Latin restaurant has a churrasco so don't bother it's really unexceptional Tne ropa vieja on the other hand was exceptional. Order the sangria no appetizer..
- RCMarch 23, 2014quatros leche OMG, I'll come back here just for this. Worth the 5 miles I need to run off right after!

- Brandon F.August 31, 2011Try their Ropa Vieja and Tres Leches cake. Their sangria was a tad too sweet. Other than that, good atmosphere and service.

- Andrea DNovember 11, 2010Nice and intimate Cuban Cuisine. The Ropa Vieja is excellent, the Flan for desert was awful. But overall it's a good restaurant...
- Kelly AnnDecember 21, 2011I recommend the ropa vieja or the empanadas. Save room for the coconut ice-cream.
- Bee ThompsonSeptember 10, 2011A little bit of a wait but worth the Great food! Moody server with the bangs!
- Miguel PerezNovember 23, 2009order ropa vieja is really good. they have a nice menu. must try. btw it's a take out place not a place to seat and eat
- Fanny GNovember 23, 2013Didn't really like the food, the rice and beans is bland, it's like a chunk of sodium. The Sangria on the other hand was Delish!
