- Kathy GodoOctober 23, 2012The cheapest pour over coffee in Chicago. I love the smell of this place. Coffee, cinnamon and something else. Clean hang out place. Not like most of hipsters coffee shops with tons of junk
- Lauren DrogosJanuary 5, 2013Great coffee shop in general. Had the zanzibar salad. Great presentation but for me, super bland. It's in dire need of vinegar. Avocado/mint/pepper carried the flavor. Healthy but lacking in taste.
- Chris HinesMay 8, 2010Order the grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich, don't forget the black coffee and chat with the friendly owners as they roast coffee beans onsite.
- The owners are fantastic. If you're a coffee fanatic, try the Black Mamba roast. Favorite coffee shop in Chicago.
- Way more seating and more comfy than Starbucks. Couches and free Wifi for the win. Bye Sbuxs

- Donnie TanskiDecember 18, 2010Great coffee. The food is overpriced ($8.25 for granola?). Owners are friendly but the girl behind the counter can be a bit unpleasant.
- Get the breakfast sandwich. Homemade delish. Comes with a huge side of fresh fruit.
- Love this place, but not loving the new .50 cent charge to use your credit card on a less than 6 dollar bill.
- Andrew BurchFebruary 2, 2013Two espresso drinks took 20 minutes to make, people behind me in line were leaving rather that wait. Coffee was meh. Just go to Starbucks across the street.
- This place is fantastic! The Carmel Apple Latte or the Black Mamba. So good!
- Go to Safari Cup Coffee get md.skim latte with extra shot. Good to go all day.
- Tea is same price no matter what size cup: sm, med or lg
