The 1-2 punch of crab and pork soup dumplings followed by pan fried juicy pork buns will knock you into dumpling heaven for $11. You just need to take the 7 to the last stop to get there.

I've been here countless times. The order for 4 people is 2 racks of soup dumplings, the cold and spicy beef slices, the cucumber salad, and beef pancake. Come hungry and leave happy.

Tasty soup dumplings and the best scallion pancake I've ever had. Parking is a Game of Thrones style nightmare so if you can take the subway, do that.

XLBs are nice, clean and meaty, not too salty. Salt is the major diff btwn Joe Shanghai and here. Joes is mich saltier. Scallion pancake and garlic cucumber, fantastic.

One of the best Xiao long baos in NYC. Their rice cakes and beef scallion pancake is also really good. They often have lines, but it moves pretty quick.

No matter how good the soup dumplings smell, do note that these babies come piping hot and will leave your tongue with third degree burns if you try to down them too quickly. Read more

Dare I say best soup dumplings in NYC? Definitely better than Joe Shanghai. Get the crab with pork over just the pork for $1 more. The scallion pancake with beef is pretty tasty.

Amazingly good XLB of course. You may find it too salty due to the soy sauce or the taste of your tears silently streaming down your face at the taste of such authentic shanghai style dimsum

Insanely delicious soup dumplings. The pork buns were also one of the best I've tried. Also, the scallion pancakes with beef are soooo tasty and rich!

They do a great Chinese breakfast. The warm soy milk is good for a cold day. The Xiang long bao are decent. The cold dishes like the spicy beef are a good appetizers. The servers are blunt.

The line's not as bad as it looks. The xiao long bao wrappers are crazy thick and good. Waitress recommended the scallion noodles which were super filling and tasty.

Order the soup dumplings (buns). Possibly the best in NYC. Get 2 orders if it's more than just you eating. If you're in the mood for noodles, the crispy noodles w/ shredded chicken was delicious.

worth the wait so be sure to bring a lot of patience. the xlb comes out in 30 min waves. if you get there at the end of a wave, you're set. always order more xlb than you think you want

You know why you're here... The soup dumplings!!! They're a must. They were my first soup dumplings ever. Also try: spicy wontons, scallion pancakes and rice cakes with shredded pork! #nyceats

The best soup dumplings in NYC (Joe's Shanghai can't touch this). Pro tip: 1) puncture exterior to cool, 2) sip soup, 3) devour dumpling.

The soup dumplings are pretty much the de facto here. Scallion pancakes, rice cake, and beef noodles are good options. Rice dishes are pretty good too. Good for groups and late dinners!

They the combo/mixed flavored tray. They try to get exotic but they run out of the good ones and don’t substitute anything good. Worth a try if you get all the different baos

The Soup dumplings are undoubtedly some of the best around, but the real star is the scallion pancake with beef. Not to be missed.

Yup, this place lives up to the hype. Best soup dumplings by far in nyc. Treat yourself to the scallion pancake too- flaky and deep fried.

Definitely get there early. Definitely worth the 40 min wait after getting seated for soup dumplings. While you wait get some scallion pancakes. All very delish.

Get a number it’s a wait usually. It’s authentic so don’t come here ordering “beef and broccoli.” Save that for the local Chinese grease box takeout.

BRING CASH! The soup dumplin was ok. And the scaliom pancake was good, but the soup dumpling burned me and the scalion pancake has way too much grease. It was worth the try tho.

Cucumbers with garlic are great, as is the bean curd with cilantro. They were "sold out" of the vegetable dumplings, which apparently happens pretty often

Get the regular soup dumplings. They are the best in New York. Freshly made & steamed when you order them. The Shanghainese broad noodle dish is delish too.

Spicy beef and tripe was my favorite dish. Their soup dumplings were okay, the skin was thicker than I like. Skip the scallion pancake with beef, it’s overhyped (too greasy)
