- Derek T. KuAugust 4, 2017I've been here countless times. The order for 4 people is 2 racks of soup dumplings, the cold and spicy beef slices, the cucumber salad, and beef pancake. Come hungry and leave happy.
- Alex RainertJanuary 3, 2016Tasty soup dumplings and the best scallion pancake I've ever had. Parking is a Game of Thrones style nightmare so if you can take the subway, do that.
- Russell HirschornAugust 1, 2016XLBs are nice, clean and meaty, not too salty. Salt is the major diff btwn Joe Shanghai and here. Joes is mich saltier. Scallion pancake and garlic cucumber, fantastic.
- TomOctober 4, 2014One of the best Xiao long baos in NYC. Their rice cakes and beef scallion pancake is also really good. They often have lines, but it moves pretty quick.
- Gabriel ChungApril 18, 2016Dare I say best soup dumplings in NYC? Definitely better than Joe Shanghai. Get the crab with pork over just the pork for $1 more. The scallion pancake with beef is pretty tasty.
- Amazingly good XLB of course. You may find it too salty due to the soy sauce or the taste of your tears silently streaming down your face at the taste of such authentic shanghai style dimsum

- Omer ZachSeptember 20, 2014The line's not as bad as it looks. The xiao long bao wrappers are crazy thick and good. Waitress recommended the scallion noodles which were super filling and tasty.
- Andrew LevyMarch 6, 2014Order the soup dumplings (buns). Possibly the best in NYC. Get 2 orders if it's more than just you eating. If you're in the mood for noodles, the crispy noodles w/ shredded chicken was delicious.
- CristinaDecember 3, 2013worth the wait so be sure to bring a lot of patience. the xlb comes out in 30 min waves. if you get there at the end of a wave, you're set. always order more xlb than you think you want

- The soup dumplings are pretty much the de facto here. Scallion pancakes, rice cake, and beef noodles are good options. Rice dishes are pretty good too. Good for groups and late dinners!
- They the combo/mixed flavored tray. They try to get exotic but they run out of the good ones and don’t substitute anything good. Worth a try if you get all the different baos
- Nicholas DoyleMarch 20, 2015The Soup dumplings are undoubtedly some of the best around, but the real star is the scallion pancake with beef. Not to be missed.

- Jeffrey WuMay 27, 2018Get a number it’s a wait usually. It’s authentic so don’t come here ordering “beef and broccoli.” Save that for the local Chinese grease box takeout.

- funky flavorFebruary 20, 2017BRING CASH! The soup dumplin was ok. And the scaliom pancake was good, but the soup dumpling burned me and the scalion pancake has way too much grease. It was worth the try tho.
- Howard WalfishJuly 20, 2015Cucumbers with garlic are great, as is the bean curd with cilantro. They were "sold out" of the vegetable dumplings, which apparently happens pretty often

- Everything was amazing. The xiao long bao were juicy and delicate. The scallion pancakes with steak were perfectly crispy and accented.
- EileenJuly 8, 2018Spicy beef and tripe was my favorite dish. Their soup dumplings were okay, the skin was thicker than I like. Skip the scallion pancake with beef, it’s overhyped (too greasy)
