The great specialty is cherrywood-smoked Copper River salmon with mango, a dish that certain local sushi masters would rather die than serve. (It's their loss: The dish is stunningly good.) Read more

This Sawtelle nook of a sushi bar presents some innovative dishes alongside the omakase sushi, though the nigiri is excellent by any standards. The quality is consistently high.

Traditional Japanese cuisine gets a modern makeover in Ken Namba’s kitchen, where Canadian salmon topped with caviar hugs mango slices. Scallop, halibut, and unagi are top picks for straight sashimi.

Great quality sushi in a casual place. Must try their house smoked salmon and always good to order some Hokkaido uni.

Omakase dinner is solid. Around $100-140 per person without drinks. The toro sushi was amazing, as well as miso squid

Excellent sushi. A must go. Fantastic! But perhaps best to order a la carte over omakase. The omakase service was REALLY REALLY slow....

The three hand roll lunch is a great deal at $14.50. It comes with salad and miso soup, and you can upgrade to a blue crab roll for $1 more.

Ken San (owner/chef) is a certified master at his craft. Before I came here, I was a California roll and spicy tuna guy. After experiencing Kiriko's dinner, I immediately became an Omakase guy!!!!

Leave you dinner fate in the hands of Ken-san, Tomo-san, and Shinji-san (omakase!), and you'll be taken on a magical sushi ride.

Instead of the full omakase, sit at the bar and ask for 10-12 pieces of sushi, whatever the chef likes. AMAZING. Buy the chefs a beer, too.

Not as good as it used to. Slow service, not attentive. The worst Omagaze ever had. 6 piece of sushi served in 3 hours for $120;((
