Super friendly, largest Safeway in town. During busy times manager will get the lines going.
Bennett W WongMarch 3, 2016It's conveniently located near Ocean Beach. Planning a beach day BBQ? Come to Safeway for charcoal, food and beverage items.- Its the main one. Good place to get a large sandwich. Essential Supermarket.
Got a little facelift at the end of 2015 so it's a little nicer, but will always suffer the coastal business curse (feels dirty and has dirtbag customers).
Skip the deli sandwiches here and walk a block north to Fredy's Deli for an amazing sandwich!
Marilou AlejoJuly 3, 2011There's a recycling center in the parking lot! Trade in those beer cans & bottles for some cash. Then walk inside and buy MORE alcohol! :)
Only reason to go here's to get picnic and bonfire essentials – the stuff is rude and generally unhelpful
