100 or so stalls selling genuine fakes and tat, a nice stroll if you are in the area at night. Grab food on Si Lom Road at a hawker stand. Watch out for massage touts.

The original street night market in Bangkok, also well known as a red-light district together. Souvenirs, t-shirts, fake/copy brands are also found here. Late night shopping.

Busy, rammed stalls, great if you want a proper fake wallet or pair of cheap boxers. Ping Pong bars, yeh, go for it, you’re in Bangkok, but beware of the scams. Hold your own and get out fast.

Lots of cheap & poor quality souvenirs. Touristy so be prepared to get hustled. Seedy bars & unsavoury entertainment lined the street. Family with young kids should steer clear of the area.

Exactly like Petaling Street in Malaysia. The bars on both sides are what will make a jaunt here interesting. Can see girls in tiny bikinis cavorting on stage with a suspicious pouch sticking out lol

Buy cheap souvenirs, make sure you haggle for the price. Start at half the rate they ask for. The later you go the cheaper things are.

Had a great steak at the beginning of the night. Steak House on Patpong 2 Happy Hour was a bonus.

Nice place to look around for what you want, but I suggest going to Chatuchak and buying it there. It's waaay cheaper :)

Enjoy the pussy pong show but know that it's a 100 baht per item they use. , Not for entire show. Tell them to take back the drinks the girls "Cheers" you with. They try to charge u for them at end.

Beware of ping pong show scams. They follow and convince you to watch the show until you get bored. Then you'll find yourself surrounded by them and asked for 4k B. Give money, go out and tell police

Get ready to be harassed by men offering ping pong shows. Bars nearby sell expensive beers - around 100 baht. Night market is so-so.

Caution: If you get approached by someone (which you will) DO NOT FOLLOW THEM. They will lure you with 100Bht drinks but if you follow them to the 2nd or 3rd floor they'll rip you off! 3000B/person!!

They tend to overprice their goods because you're a foreigner. I bargain to almost 70% of the original price. Walkout if they don't agree, they'll chase you.

Stay away from any bars above ground level. They are rip off joints and if you don't pay, they get a couple of thugs to beat you up......serious! Stay away!

Be careful when being approach for free live shows. Will say onli need to pay for drinks but in the end the bar place pple will try to rip u off. Charge u for show fee and all sorts of rubbish fee.

When bargaining. First rule is to look interested, ask the price then walk away to avoid paying high prices. Never stay unless you're willing to pay the price.
