- Lai van BeekAugust 2, 2019Very tasty Thai food! Loved their fish cakes, green chicken curry, red shrimp curry, massaman curry and beef with oyster sauce! Small place which is always crowded. Don’t serve alcohol and cash only.
- Hei-Yu TangJuly 28, 2015Best Thai place in Amsterdam. The Papaya Salad is fabulous and hot. The curries have nice deep flavours and the Pad Thai is chewy. Love this place!
- VinceMay 20, 2019Everything we ate was delicious (loved the chef’s special), but the service was absolutely the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in Amsterdam. Can’t wait to go back.
- Mykolas PetrauskasJanuary 9, 2016Very delicious and authentic Thai good, in a not pretentious bar, for a very fair price. Go there if looking for good food, rather than for bangs and whistles of more fancy alternatives around.
- Best and cheapest Thai in this area. Come early as it tends to get crowded. No PIN and no alcohol here.
- Ilona AngJanuary 20, 2014Best thai in Amsterdam in my opinion. Fish cakes and massaman curry are heavenly, squid is amazing too. The women who work the kitchen and take your orders give this place extra charm.
- Maayan SelaJune 16, 2017Amazing amazing amazing! I was skeptical but then told myself..so many recommendations it must mean something! Loved it all!
- Sarang KulkarniFebruary 21, 2015Close to authentic Thai food. The beef in re sauce with bamboo shoots is great, the ambience is cozy and cramped, but the food quality more than makes up for it.
- Gregory BolkenstijnFebruary 22, 2015Really delicious Thai food! The women who work here are very friendly and adorable. Best Thai in town.
- Giorgi MerebashviliJuly 31, 2018Had fishcake, green curry with shrimps and pad Thai with vegetable all of them suuuper tasty
- Nadia DuinkerAugust 9, 2015Really authentic thai restaurant with the best thai food in town. My favourites: green curry with bamboo and shrimps, and fish cookies.. Delicious!
- Jules LNovember 23, 2017Tom ka khai soup + chicken sate skewers + fried rice. All extra fresh and full of flavours 🌈
- Oscar TjinFebruary 25, 2016Good thai food, not one of the best, but good enough. Not very friendly staff, looked like they're in a rush. Eat & leave. Quite a small place so do understand
- Emilie amsJuly 26, 2017Really the best thai in Amsterdam, the green curry with tofu is really good (red one as well)
- Ter AmsMay 31, 2015Good food! Nice staff! Not for romantic diners but great food. Try the red curry.
- Fatma GencSeptember 5, 2015This is it! The two sisters that own this cute joint, worked at Bird- the used-to-be best Thai of Amsterdam
- Adam NowekJune 14, 2015Amazing Thai food in a tiny room. No alcohol, though, just to make sure you don't stay too long.
- Thijs NiksOctober 24, 2014Good food, friendly staff and very affordable pricing. Has about 24 seats. Only takes cash.
- Jenipher Camino GonzalezMarch 28, 2016Quality thai food in unassuming place, low tourist ration, highly recommend!
- Perfect and not overwhelming mix of food, also random choice is a good strategy
- Anne HJune 9, 2012The papaya salad was very spicy but so fresh and lovely. Also the red tofu curry is delicious.
- Noonas GnomeJuly 28, 2012Excellent Thai food for very good price! Looking forward to revisit for more Thai goodness.
- @ambarsurastriDecember 30, 2012Tom Yum Goong, Fish cakes, papaya salad, check! aaahh order from the whole menu! It's so good.
- Take the ocha mix for starters and share. Massaman Beef Curry and Pad Thai are excellent!
- Ilia SlobodchikovOctober 21, 2015Food is fine, but not extraordinary. Tom yam is pretty bad... But this seems to be common for all Thai restaurants in Amsterdam. Service is great, by the way.
- Gregoo GregApril 8, 2012Everything here is amaaaaaazing! Sate chicken sticks for 4euros! Lovely girls in the kitchen!
- Best Thai restaurant in Amsterdam - no-one is anywhere near a tie.
- The best Thai near Nieuwmarkt at this moment. If you like Bird, you better go try this one too. Read more
- Rienk SuFebruary 25, 2011When they ask you for spicy.. NEVER say yes, or you'll end up with an inferno in your mouth!
- B KJune 10, 2015I prefer Bird. Ocha is cheaper but the food is not that good and portions are smaller than Bird's. No alcohol.
