    Very beautiful museum. As a future neurosurgeon I found a lot of interesting things that helped me to better understand the human body and its pathologies especially the nervous system.

    Absolutely one of the best kept secrets in the DC area. You might expect a medical freak show, but this is a well-curated museum. A personal favorite.

    An Osteotome (forerunner to the medical chainsaw), the box has slides of President Grant's cancerous larynx, that is the 12th thoracic and 1st and 2nd lumbar of President Garfield with a bullet wound.
