- Anastasia GiorgiovaOctober 13, 2013I just came from NYC & Northeastern PA & no, this does not compare. It was definitely one of the better Cali Pizzas though...Good cheese to sauce ratio, but crust is bland & sauce is on the tart side.
- Joe's pizza slices are great for a quick & affordable meal, but the calzone's totally worth the wait. Call 20 minutes ahead so it'll be ready and piping hot when you arrive. Love spinach & artichoke!
- BravoJanuary 27, 2010The closest thing to a New York City pizzeria in Los Angeles. Ask for the Blue Collar Pizza, basically their version of a thin crust pizza. -Alex Eusebio, Top Chef
- Debbie ValentaAugust 17, 2010If you think this is great New York pizza, you've either never been there or you've been gone too long. Don't be taken in by the hype. Bravo in Santa Monica is better.
- just moved from NYC to LA, and I lived across the street from the real Joe's in the West Village... this is pretty close to the real thing. worth a try indeed
- Sit outside and enjoy fantastic NYC style pizza. Sign me up.
- Kelli MichaelAugust 7, 2015The worst Pizza in the world. It was hard as a rock. And the service sucked. The guy kept murmuring about the dollar tip I gave him for my 3 dollar pizza slice. Never ever going back. Ever
- Frankie GabagoolMay 24, 2012Great clean marinad'. Right now this is #1, Vito's pizza #2 and Mulberry St. Pizza #3
- The claim that LA has no Decent NY style Pizza is ridiculous. If this place isn't doing it right, then it's doing it better. Yeah, I went there.
