Trains are running on a modified schedule due to damages from Sandy. Check the website for more info and expect frequent stops and delays. Take an earlier train if you commute so you won't get fired!- If you're riding your bike on the Henry Hudson Trail, this is a good place to go. It's in between the northern and southern portions, and you can take your bike on the train to NYC or the Shore.
- Be sure to arrive about 15 minutes early so you can get a ticket from the machine because the trains charge an extra $5 if you buy them on the train.
Daily parking in spaces 1 to 210 only until 10am. After 10 you can park anywhere.- LizAugust 8, 2012If you're going to PNC for a show look for the yellow school bus, it's the free shuttle from the station to the venue!
- Parking in the big lot before the tracks is free. You have to pay of you park in the lot behind track 1.
Kurt WeberMarch 21, 2012NEVER run under the gates for your train. Remember, a train can approach at any time, on either track, in either direction. Running under the gates is dangerous, stupid, and illegal!
Parking is fine, but get there before 7:30 or else. Before 6:30, and you get your choice of spots ;-)
The station's lobby closes at about 12:00, and they only serve food on the mornings. There is, however, a 7-11 about 10 minutes away. Also, the cab service (mostly Patty's) is abysmal.
Any guesses on when we will see s train again? Im thinking January 2013
Post Sandy trains are a slow go. Check the NJT website before taking the train.
