This place has wonderful soups (every day of the week they make a different one, all delicious) and great steaks and may put to shame many steakhouses. Also, their salads and wonderful and unique.- Enjoyed the Mexico-city soup (served on Sundays) and grilled chicken salad, along with a glass of chilled sparkling wine. They have different soups each day of the week and all are great!

ArtJonakMarch 2, 2013Grilled artichokes are off the hook (when in season)... and well, the ribs are world class, fall off the bones amazing!- Love their signature dish - Grilled Chicken Salad. Could not find the same taste anywhere else. Great soups, too. Enjoyed their Mexico City soup (they have it only on Sundays) - a pure delight!

There is only one soup available per night so make sure to go when the soup you want is available .- Best veggie burger. Their braises cabbage is also excellent if you like that sort of thing.

There is sometimes a wait! Hardly ever at the bar and you can get full service there. Friendly staff. Food very consistently Good!
Who can resist the fries,...or maybe the spinach artichoke dip!! Try the grilled chicken salad (w/out the peanut sauce). The Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich was tasty, but the French Dip is still my favorite sandwich at Houston's.

Its all about the Kettle and fresh squeezed grapefruit. Try it!
Ask to be seats on rooftop deck. The view of Houston skyline is amazing.
