- For a few weeks I thought the teppanyaki stall had close down. So glad it's still around! Comfort food. They should change the signboard though.
- Jess ThiaJanuary 14, 2015Prefer the variety of local snacks / finger food here than opposite, eg. Satay, Gado Gado, Tahu Goreng, Popiah, Rojak. Fong Kee Dumpling (Jiao Zi / Guo Tie), Chwee Kueh, Cai Tao Kway, Hao Jian, etc...
- Fishball noodles. 鱼圆麺肉脞麺 #01-01 serves 6 fishballs for $3.50. High water content, hardly tasted fish. Skip the lard oil which smelled rancid, which a staff admittedly shared comes from central kitchen
- Kinson TohAugust 26, 2014Laksa with dou miao & monkey head mushroom from Henry Wang stall @Delicious Vegetarian in Serangoon garden Market & Food centre taste great.👍👍👍 5.00pm - 9.00pm
- Braised duck rice. The duck meat from Ah Seng Braised Duck Rice #01-44 was aromatic & very well cooked. Pairs well with their chilli sauce. Rice was rather dry

- Bak chor mee: Seng Kee (stall 4) doesn't taste like ur typical BCM. His sauce has a strong fragrance /flavour, probably due to d mushrooms he uses. I read his fish maw noodle is tastier. Will try nxt
- Good dry wantan noodles. Springy enough but best to be eaten fresh, instead of take away.
- Fish maw soup at Seng Kee mushroom minced meat noodles #01-04 has loads of fresh pork (minced & slices), seaweeds and big pieces of fish maw.
- Duck is good!! so is the pigs organ soup.. The dim sum is not bad!! And the buns are classic..pk fish and chips are cheap and good.. But sometimes inconsistent.
- Come just before dinner time otherwise you could wait up to an hour for a seat. Waiting time for food is usually about 15-20 mins though chicken wings and desserts are almost instant.
- Fishball noodle fr stall 15 is yummy but $4 for 2 factory-made fishballs?!
- pin leeApril 7, 2019Hao hoe Siang kway Teow soup has been here 4 decades. While it may not be d best - I frequent it for nostalgia n childhood memories !
- pin leeJanuary 1, 2015New fish soup stall (next to dumpling stall) is good. Not fishy n thickly sliced. Good portions too.
- Fried oyster omelette. Despite several awards lining the stall, Hock Kee (stall 19) does not serve up exceptional oyster omelette :-( I wonder if it's still d same cook that garnered those awards?
- Fried rice from Stall 43 (Asian Wok) is delicious, full of wok hei!

- Cory TanJanuary 12, 2011authentic type lor mee thick soup, not the fake starchy type. The beef noodle soup is also thick and full flavoured, and the beef melts in your mouth
- Christina TJanuary 27, 2010The bak chor mee (minced meat noodle) from Chuan Heng Fish Ball is a good value at $3 for a big portion. The noodles are bouncy and the soup is so delicious!
