- When it's two hours on the damn Ryan you can't beat the South Shore. Fare is high, however.
- Get there early because if you are coming from the south side of the tracks there is a high chance of getting stuck by a freight train during the morning rush.
- Saturdays have much few trains....but the times they do run are only a few minutes form their regular times.....really check ahaed
- The fare is getting astronomical. Once you pay for parking it's over $10 for a round trip to downtown. 25 ride & monthly pass will put you in the poorhouse. Week-end and non-rush hour schedule sucks.
- Trains often late. Office always closed. Ticket machines often double charge your credit card. What a great way to service 50 percent of your ridership.
- If possible avoid this train line 4 a while, it is late everyday due to construction I will be returning in dec or january
- Freight trains always stopping on tracks. Causes many to be late or waste time re-routing
- Any train after the 8:18 train on weekdays is most likely going to be late.
