- Roast meats. Sin Heng Kee #01-34 satifies another fan base than Fatty Cheong. Enjoyed my char siew (BBQ pork), although their sauce has a hint of Chinese herbs. Comes with a bowl of cabbage soup
- Look out for these 2 drinks/desserts stalls with funny names!Sipei COOL boasts of No. 1 Teh Bing, while GambaTEH serves Taiwan-style milk tea and also waffles with ice cream :)
- Chai tow kway: Really enjoyed bfast @ Tanglin (name of stall!) #01-130. Steamed carrot cake was chunky. I cd taste 'chai por' (preserved radish). Fried egg was not overwhelming the whole dish
- Lots of good stalls here. Roast meat, Hokkien mee, chicken rice, Penang eats and power chendol too! Yummy!
- Penang char kway teow. Lots of 'wok hei' (smokiness) from Jason Penang Cuisine #01-112. Generous w eggs, pork lard cubes. $4 per plate. 3 midsize prawns, slices of Chinese sausages. No cockles

- KL-style black sauce Hokkien mee. Decent plate from Famous KL Hokkien Mee #01-110. Noodles were the thick type. Not as aromatic as I'd expect. 2 prawns in $4 plate, 3 prawns in $6 plate
- Very nice and good selection of dishes from the malay food stall Nusa & Tara (#01-22). Always has a long queue during lunch time.
- Sliced fish soup from ABC Deli 01-48 sees long queues on working day lunch. Clear soup base is sweet but they could be more generous with fish slices

- #01-13 Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Hokkien Mee; uncle takes his time to prepare the noodles. You will be rewarded for your patience with a delicious plate of hokkien mee that i rate as one of the best in SG.
- Hainanese curry rice. Get your fix from Yuguo Curry Rice #0-138. This plate of 4 dishes $4.80. Pork chop was the dry style. Also offers a lot of caifan dishes
- Cheng tng dessert. $2.20 per bowl from Four Seasons #01-46. Generous ingredients. Aromatic longan tea. Available hot or with ice
- Wantan mee: I prefer the standard taste fr Cantonese Seng Kee #01-111, over Swee Kee #01-39 which has a strange-tasting sauce
- Fried Hokkien Noodles. Craving this dish for breakfast or lunch? Make a beeline to Havelock Road Blk 50 Fried Hokkien Mee #01-100. Wet & infused with lots of flavours. Old-school. This plate $5

- Malaysia Style Curry Noodles ($5.30). The recommended dry curry noodles from Guang Zai Malaysia Style Curry & Soup Noodles was OK only. Nothing outstanding other than interesting ingredients

- Prata. Chewy ones from Y.R.A Rasool Fatimah #01-10. Curry gravy is very thick. $1 for plain, $2 for egg onion prata
- Fishball noodles: Head straight to Lao Jian Cheng #01-51 (formerly fr Farrer Rd) for ur breakfast fix. Fishballs are so genuinely handmade that we cd taste & smell d fish!
- Love the Nasi Lemak and refreshing juices ! Love the shop " fatty Cheong " because of their duck !
- Jess ThiaApril 8, 2015Finally found very late night (almost midnight) proper dinner meal here after work. You know its a Monday night when the usual popular supper stalls close early or having their rest day of the week.
- Fishball noodles from Ah Ken #01-51 was average. Fishballs & sliced fishcakes tasted overcooked with little fish taste. They served pork-based soup with my fishball noodles
- Beef noodles. The meat from Chinatown Beef King #01-115 is sliced finely & cooked. Some people prefer this easier way to eat
- Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodles). Disappointed w bowl from Hosay Mee Pok #01-120. Unattractive flavours and unrecognisable tiny hard bits

- Hopper AnonDecember 11, 2016Beware of the scary cleaning lady who grabs your plates without asking, even when you're obviously not done yet. I had half a plate of awesome char siew cleared away, & no, there's no way to stop her.
- Fried hokkien noodles at #01-13 is as good as Simon Road fried hokkien noodles at Hougang St 21. Opens until 10.45 pm. Pohpiah #01-124 is value for money at $1.70 per roll.
- Pacific Fruit Stall @ #01-117 sells very interesting fruit juices such as cucumber and star fruit or apple and yakult juice. No syrup added too.
- If you like Penang food, there’s Jason Pg cuisine #01-112 fried kuay teow & Jin Jin #01-21 Pg chendol
- Yong tau foo. Wide variety of items from 128 Yong Tau Foo #01-128. My bowl of soup was overly salty
- Wow Wow West - delicious and superb value for money, Power chendol from Jin Jin, Penang char kway teow
- Mango ice: I concur! Jin Jin's mango ice is a hit! Sweet mango drizzled w condensed milk, over a bed of shaved ice in carnation milk. Smooth!
- Kopi. Preferred the kopi-C over kopi-O from Hylam Street Old Coffee #01-53. It masked the stale aroma found in just plain kopi
- Fishball noodle: stall #01-121 is the clear winner in this food court! Handmade, very chewy fishballs made our day

- Satay bee-hoon: Thick traditional sauce makes stall #01-147 a winner. I wanted to order a second plate!
- Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee 01-13 1130 - 1430 / 1630 - 1130 Very nice and famous. Found it after walking around for minutes. Need to wait for a while. Serving quite small. Yummy!
- Bak chor mee ($4). Forgettable bowl from Mr. Meepok #01-140 BCM. Lacks aroma, no pork lard, chilli sauce didn’t make a dent
