Check out the decorative touch on the fence along the street as you exit the east station house.

Exit on the Spaulding side every now and then. It's fun to be on ground level as the trains pass.

Don't let the free loaders sneak in at Spaulding. Don't put it past the CTA to shut that entrance down for loss of revenue.

This station was the site of a fatal 1977 accident involving an intoxicated Korean immigrant who was electrocuted by the third rail while attempting to urinate on the track. The CTA was found 50% responsible with a $1.5 million judgment against them.
