- Don DunbarMay 26, 2013Great evening - the symphony pops group did a fantastic job of integrating w Pink Martini. Seats were in BB center with a very good view of the stage. Easy parking. They just needed more bartenders.Upvoted Feb 3
- CultureMap HoustonFebruary 28, 2012Composed of hundreds of movable hexagons, they can be used to shrink the space from 3,000 seats to 1,800 by dipping from the roof to eliminate the balcony.
- Catherine WhitesideDecember 29, 2017Not a bad seat in the house. Very easy to find seats and the theater handles movement/transition of crowds with ease.Upvoted Jan 6
- Good acoustics and conveniently designed seats - no need to get up when someone wants to pass you. But bathrooms is the real problem: long way down, frequent large queues.
- Zachary BurgesonSeptember 8, 2014Such a talented group. Best seats are right on the balcony. Great acoustics and low ticket price.
- Marchell MascheckJune 4, 2016Take Uber and skip the hike from the parked car. Be prepared for LOTS of stairs. One single over-sized elevator moves at a snail's pace.
- Tonight was the best Beethoven Triple I've played or heard and it was with our own Concertmaster, Frank Huang, and Principal Cellist Brinton Smith, and that's 29 years of orchestral playing for me!
- Miriam GoldmanFebruary 16, 2015Beautiful and architecturally ambitious symphonic hall. You're going to want to sit as close as you can afford to, however.
- Despite its age, it’s still a great venue for the variety of types of shows that they have

- Rick AltizerJanuary 9, 2011Speaking of restrooms, the lower level men's room received the "most unfortunate door and mirror placement in all Houston" award. From the lower lobby a full 5 seconds of AWKWARD.
- M BJanuary 4, 2015Shen Yun has beautiful performances....they said it is different every year...our show was really good!
- Edith SantiagoNovember 21, 2010Pre-order drinks and they will be ready when you come out for intermission. . .no waiting in a long line and you will get a table.
- Jan JordanDecember 14, 2011Arrive early, time to park and walk, restrooms. and relax and enjoy performance.
- Disappointing hall: terrible acoustics (orchestra sections cannot hear each other), awkward to get in and out of seats due to lack of aisles. Poorly designed from the start.
- Paul SuckowFebruary 10, 2013Cross the theatre at Row 18 instead of walking all the way around the back to get to seats on the other side
- Tip: Use the restroom *before* your performance starts. (The restrooms on the lower level often are less crowded than those on upper levels.) Read more
- Hidden HoustonAugust 28, 2011The Flying Karamozov Brothers are on stage at Jones Hall during today's Theater District Open House!
- Alex WolfeJanuary 1, 2013This Shen Yun performance is over-marketed and is very overpriced. I feel bad for the people who paid 200+
