Kamo Nanban soba. Enjoyed a savoury bowl of duck nanban udon — hot dashi with slices of duck meat. They also offer the bowl with chicken, kimchi chicken, beef, or mushrooms
Upvoted Mar 27- Tororo Seiro. A friend treated me to this hard-to-find soba with tororo dip. Fell in love w it! Dip made fr yamaimo, a Jap yam, & a quail egg - giving a thick & gooey texture coating for ur soba
- Vegetarian yasai tempura soba. If u r able to consume eggs, inform the staff so that they can indicate to the kitchen to use the more fragrant & crispier tempura batter. Much tastier 👍🏼

I was impressed; my appetite was piqued too.- Chicken katsu don set ($19.80). Filling bowl. Chicken cutlet fried with scrambled egg, over a bed of rice. Anh HanOctober 4, 2014Cold soba is superb. Freshly made on site from seed to plate. Cold tea is lovely too. Upsize the soba for 5 bucks or be greedy and get another plate for 8!
laetitiaApril 1, 2016Had the Paragon Soba: cold soba was really excellent, tasty tempura in light batter, hot soba broth was good but noodles became sloppy a bit too fast. Excellent set overall - 22sgd. Staff not great.
Jasmine PangOctober 15, 2014Relatively more expensive Japanese restaurant but they serve good quality soba, both warm & cold. Food range is limited mainly to soba noodles as the main course. Great place for soba lovers!- This is the $6.30 portion for top-up salmon & scallop sashimi. Menu claims usual price is $11.30
- Vegetarian options: Shokado "Koyasan", Nabeyaki udon/soba, Chikara soba
Always a solid choice when you're scratching your head for restaurant options. There's something for everyone. The hijiki rice is a personal favorite.
Laarni de LusongDecember 6, 2015Hard to find Japanese soba that has soup that skips the bonito or other fish flakes in the soup. Here, they do and have many vegan options!- The difference between C-11 (Totoro oroshi) & C-13 (Neba Neba Healthy) is the addition of fermented soybeans😊

- Nat MSeptember 16, 2013Run by the folks of the Ichiban Boshi chains. Noodles were tasty, I liked the graininess of the buckwheat. The mackerel broth however lacked a bit of flavour. I'd recommend the cold soba instead.
- Love the serio soba here. It may be cold but is really gd & healthy.It comes with a small pot of soup at the end.

EddJune 25, 2018Underwhelming. It’s heydays are over, sadly. The noodles have absolutely no bounce factor. It’s preposterous to pay this much when it tastes just like a $5 bowl.
Noel YeoJune 20, 2010Hiyashi Kamo Soba is reason enough to be here. Adding extra noodles screws up the mix a bit. Stick w/ the regular portion.- This is part of the ichiban boshi group. You can stamp or redeem your Aki card here!
