Park at the Disney concert hall. Cut thru the park to get to the courthouse, that will save you about 7 mins walk. Take the stairs if you can handle it. Oh and no glass bottles in the courthouse.

Free wifi.if you have a power hungry device then bring your charger. My ipod came in handy. Keep music low enough to where you can hear your name being called. Bring snacks but try not to eat them all

Take the advice of another tipster - try Spring Street Smokehouse! Take Spring street over the 101, jog right a bit...nice beak from downtown crowds, think small Joes Crab Shack, but BBQ...10 min walk

Parking at the Disney Music Hall is awesome, but makes for a 10-15 min walk to the courthouse. You can cut though the park on the way which will save a little time.

If u have a laptop or iPad, get here early so u can be in front of the line as u walk into the holding room. Make sure to sit next to a outlet, u will kill you better before the day ends if u don't.

Starting April 2017, jurors report to the first floor at 7:45am. Lunch is now only an hour and a half. Wi-Fi is free though the computer terminals fill up fast.

Give yourself extra time to pass through security, and wait for the elevators. It takes a while. If you're waiting for jury selection, bring a conputer or your phone charger. It's a long wait!

Parking is a solid 15 min walk from the courthouse. Elevator takes about 5 min, unless you're a person who cuts in line. So be prepared. But also don't sweat being up to 30 min late.

Look around the elevators and find the exit doors, Waite till someone walks out and take the stairs up! Same when going down! You get a smart workout! And keeps you awake in this boring space.

If you're here for jury duty on the 11th floor everyone will be crowding the elevators for floors 1-11. Instead, take the elevators for fl 12-19. Go to 12 and walk down the stairs to save time.

Bring some magazines, laptop and snacks. I would try to do the jury orientation online so you don't have waste 2 hrs of your time and wake up so early.
