THEY GOT FISH! Great place to take kids or young family from out of town, a little small, but nice and quick so they won't lose interest http://www.nationalaquarium.org/

This wasn't worth the $10. It's a small little basement area. Didn't have much to see. You will have a better luck of seeing more animals at the National Museum of Natural History. Which is free.

Aquarium is located in the lower level, feels hot and stuffy, not with the $10 fee, you can finish the whole place in 15mins.

Really cute, little aquarium. Some very unique species, some nice exhibits. Nice quick stop if you have time!

Lack interactive learning games/tools, but kids seem to enjoy it here. This venue is good for kids that have sensory issues and easily become overwhelmed. Discounts available for groups of 15 or more.

Quaint aquarium located in the basement of the Department of Commerece. Must pass through security and cannot stand and wait nor bring any type of food in building. Pricey for adults.

Some cool fish, but it's $10 for what results to be about 10 minutes. Rather short for the cost

Wow--very disappointed in this "National " aquarium. I can see more at my local zoo. I'd combine this with the aquarium at Baltimore and just close this one. It wasn't even very cool inside!

A good deal if you are a National Aquarium member. Good for little kids or to kill an hour.

As the nation's oldest aquatrium, there's plenty to see, especially at the 2pm with daily animal feedings. -- Green Guide Editor

You get what you pay for. Definitely worth the $10 you spend. Beat to go during a feeding time.

It's small and pales in comparison to the Baltimore location, but is closing this fall and worth going to see a piece of history before it's gone.

It's smaller than Baltimore Aquarium. However, it is fun to watch them feeding the Crocodile.

This aquarium is smaller (and less overwhelming for little ones) than the big one in Baltimore.Powered by ParentsConnect.com

This place is a joke. It's literally just a hallway in the basement of a very old building. Barely any AC, a limited variety of fish, and NOT worth the $10 to get in. At least the staff was nice.

Do not go here. Three small alligators and a few piraña . Not worth the time and money. The worst aquarium in the USA. I have seen better fish tanks in Las Vegas. Come on DC, represent better!!!

I wish they had more interactive exhibits. $9 is pricey for adults, but all the kids there seemed to be having a good time.
