A good atmosphere in a classic beautiful and spacious bar area. Busy with City suits in the evenings. Check out their stout beers menu at the bar for something different.Upvoted Feb 9

Great pub in the heart of the City. They serve beer and occasionally I pop in to have a cheeky pint. Apparently this has been upsetting non-locals #fuckyou
When you enter, look up and to the left at the unusual painting on the wall.

- AntonyDecember 4, 2021Been a few times and it's a nice venue and competent for beers. Food not so much. Basic stuff like don't have stone cold hummus just taken from the fridge and get decent potatoes for your chips.
- A Piehunter favourite. Beautiful converted bank, excellent selection of ales and home of the Counting House pie platter. Not to be missed.
My face large City pub. Colin is the landlord- great staff- good beer and nice food- Pension play pen lunch - first business Monday of the month 12.30 partners room - pay as you eat
Avoid during a week day lunch time as it's rammed full of city types standing at the bar having a liquid lunch.
