Always watch out for vomit on the platforms.....and it gets a little hot out there. Listen to the Mta workers whn there are service changes too.

One of the worst-smelling, if not the worst-smelling, stations in the city. And I have to come through almost every day. Mmm.
You have here more train stope here both direction underground and after or before mezzanine floor- NabeelJuly 21, 2011A/C/E trains are on upper platform. B/D/F/M are on lower platform. Interesting people watching while you wait for the train.
NYU students would be better off exiting on the Waverly Place and Avenue of the Americas side. Easier to get yourself back to Washington Square.
Look for the escalator in the middle of the downtown B D F M platform. It will save you two flights.
Pay attention on weekends to station announcements. A,C,E and F trains may reroute or stop on different tracks
hot as he'll in the summer. be prepared to melt in your own sweat! ><

The exits here are actually West 8th St & West 3rd St.
